nope.

it's autists on /g/ that don't know what they're talking about.

XP and 7 are the only two passable operating systems Mico$oft has pushed out

10 keeps updating, so even if you disable every conceivable way for them to backdoor you, the next update will force you to update your strategy.

Once my 7 goes, I'm moving to either Linux or Mac if I can't get another copy of 7

Xubuntu, Kubuntu, Lubuntu, etc. are the unfucked versions of Ubuntu. You're right, they're fundamentally the same OS, but it makes more sense to use a Ubuntu variant rather than Ubuntu itself.

If I'm too lazy to build my own computer, is it worth getting one of the new XPS Towers? i7-6700, 16GB DDR4, GTX 1070, all for about $1800 Ausbux ($1100 in USA)

I haven't seen a vr thread on here in a while, and with the vive trackers being sent out there are some really interesting things in the works.

Anyone get theirs yet? So far all I have seen is a tracked keyboard, a tracked mug, and someone did a tracked dragon dildo. Also feel free to post about games/tools you are using/developing.

This is a simulation of total dam collapse in California.

What software was used for this?

Or do you know of any comfy simulation software to tinker with?

Give me one good reason why I should run Desktop Linux on bare metal as opposed to in a VM.

And I do mean Desktop Linux. I already have a few personal servers for running websites and UNIX programming.

Everything will work faster, sometimes some linux DE will be extremely crisp and easy to run, but it'll always lag on VM.

Personally I got sick of dual boot after my last data loss.
>>
- Faster
- Better security
- Better integration
- More control over your system
- It is fun
- Privacy and freedoms respected

You become an anomaly in the botnet. You won't exist.

I'm sorry haters and losers, but Macbooks are simply superior. I tried to install Ubuntu on my desktop, but I couldn't even get the wifi to work without having to download the drivers on a Windows PC, put them on a flash drive, then install them in Ubuntu via the terminal. Many such cases! Sad!

Macbooks are simply tremendous. They have -the highest- *gesticulates by raising pinched fingers up* build quality on the market. Mac OS is easy to use, does everything you need it to, and is perfectly integrated with the hardware, it's a tremendous experience folks, I'm telling you, I have many many friends who try to use Windows. It's always updating on them when they're in the middle of something, breaks compatibility with older applications, it's just a mess. So I tell them, "Just buy a Mac, what are you, poor?", and so they buy the Mac, and a few days later I get a call from them saying, "Thanks Donald, you really do give the best advice!" And why wouldn't I? I'm very good with the computers, I've learned a lot from my son, Baron, who has autism and likes computers very very much.

And the ladies, oh boy do the ladies love it. What are women going to think when you pull out a ten year old Thinkpad that's 3 inches thick and covered in anime stickers? It makes you look like a manchild with bad judgement, like crooked Hillary! The sleek, professional, and classy design of Macbooks makes you look like a million bucks to women.

I've been using casper to anonymously save snaps but it hasn't been functioning properly lately. Is there a better alternative app?
19 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>59011708
thank you
>>
until casper 2.0 comes out you'll have to make a new account. its likely that account will eventually stop working in which case you'll have to make another accout. snapchat implemented a new security features that makes it difficult for the current version of casper to work around.
if you dont want to deal with that then look into snapprefs
