Any advice on how to build my own personal Shoah machine?
I wanna buy some retro stuff. Advice me any sites.
I know about ebay only.
I've got picreleated. Also I need delivery to Russia.
I get all my retro stuff from the local bins, people just throw it out
>>62185272
They're crazy. They can sell it on ebay for money.
In our city you can't find something but old soviet TV.
We are making a web browser!

In the face of recent changes in Firefox and Chrome some anons were asking for a /g/'s perfect web browser, we collected the most wanted here and plan on continuing with the creation.
To contribute follow the WORK PLAN, join the IRC to ask developers for a repo, and get to programming!

Yeah, vi bindings will be great
how long till web programmers become obsolete due to advanced AI
Will you buy it?
It's literally worse than an iPhone and windows phone combined. Why would anyone buy it at all?

Did the Rustfags manage to convince everyone to rewrite everything into Rust?
And why is modern C++ not an option?
>>62184160
>Did the Rustfags manage to convince everyone to rewrite everything into Rust?
They're trying to and it looks like it working. For a language that's still so rapidly developing, it's seeing a lot of use and adoption.
>why is modern C++ not an option?
It is an option, it's just a bloated, contorted, compromising option
> Control
> Safety
?

Because as long as you need to manually manage memory people are going to fuck shit up. Pajeets and even experts occasionally
Should I just give up? I want a free email service that lets me use POP/IMAP and gmail seems like the only good choice. Tutanota and protonmail don't allow this because of their encyption settings, so you're stuck with the web UI.

How about no? I don't want a NSA-sponsored email address where my chances of being labeled a pedo are substantial.
Dare I?
If you want help:
>Assemble parts list

>State the budget for your build (and country if not USA)
>List games/software you use often, as well as your monitor resolution + refresh rate
>Clarify your goal for build improvements: lower price or improved specs?

CPUs:
No i5 unless discounted
>G4560 - poverty-tier builds
>R3 1200 - Budget builds (<$500)
>R3 1300x - Good stop-gap between the 1500x and the 1200, only get a 1400 if you absolutely need multithreading
>R5 1500x - Good but up to 1600 if you can
>R5 1600 - Best value for higher fps gaming / mixed usage; 1600x if you want higher stock clocks
>R7/Used Xeon/Threadripper - Compute/Multitask/VM/mixed use; Not for just gaming
GPUs:
Coin miners have driven price up and stock down, waiting to buy a GPU might be wiser
>Integrated CPU Graphics - Desktop stuff and very light games
>GTX 1050(Ti) - Lower end budget cards, drop settings on newer games, RX560 beaten by both
>RX570 - 1080p@60~hz maxed, running most maxed older games at 100~Hz
>RX580 and GTX1060 6GB - 1080p@80hz maxed, 1440p@60hz at lower settings; RX580 better in newer games
>GTX 1070 or Vega 56 - 1080p@130hz /1440p@60hz at high
>GTX 1080 - 1080p@144hz / 1440p@60hz maxed, 4k@60hz in a few games; Probably the highest end card you need for 1080p/1440p
>GTX 1080Ti - 1440p@144hz and 4k@60hz maxed/high in many games
>Good fucking luck even getting a VEGA right now
RAM:
>Check your Mobo QVL before buying any RAM
>Ryzen CPUs benefits a lot from high speed RAM
General:
ALWAYS LOOK AT PRODUCT REVIEWS!
Always consider an SSD. Try buying a large SSD for what you'd pay for your SSD+HDD combined, and add a HDD later
NVMe SSDs aren't for a faster OS boot, they're for productivity/scratch disk/VMs. NVMe and M.2 are not the same thing, M.2 is a form factor
Fuck miners

What PSU should I get with this? The one that's listed is a stand-in for the one I have right now (be quiet system power 7, 80+ bronze 350W), and I think it could just about do for this build, but probably not with an overclock.
Also if I fucked something up, feel free to tell me. I just ordered all of it but I could always cancel the orders. The storage I already had from before.
An uncle installed an unactivated copy of windows 10 that doesn't update I don't know the details and I can't talk with him right now ,what do I have to do with it when I change everything but my HDDs?
>>62184246
W10 should update even if you haven't activated it. Unless you're talking about LTSB maybe?
Hey /g/ why aren't you browsing /g/ on your thinkpad t430s?

Go to /csg/ stop making this threads
Yes itks technology, but its basically videogames and consumerism, nobody talks about the actual tech behind it. Fucksakes
>>62183945
/csg/ isn't a place you can go to, its spam created by people too dysfunctional to use sites like slickdeals. A thread having too broad a topic and being reposted every few hours by some neurotic neet isn't a form of moderation, its a disease.
Just bought a vive, how long does it take to charge the controllers and do I have to use both those tracker boxes?
I don't have a power a power cord that can reach to the other side of the wall.
Anyone else take advantage of the bonus points system? My buddy would a UHD TV... The promo code 3FEF6 works, but I can't find any more. Any tips?

In what order will they die?

2) Apple
3) Facebook
