>literal marketers here spamming AMD threads

Wow.
Do you regret your decision at least?

yes
I wish I could be a part of the cool Ryzen club

>tfw I could've built a Ryzen machine
>tfw in another couple of months I would've been greentexting Intel's next lineup

here's some suggestions. stop spamming, buy ad space so i can block them, kill yourself
I'm not trying to advertise. I actually just want to know if there are any website-breaking errors. This is a work in progress, and it is supposed to be private when finished.

well it can't beat 7700k so that guy was right, talking about real performance that matters (single-threaded gaming performance)
>>59071504
>Can't beat 7700K
It matches it in single thread
>>59071512
I saw a benchmark saying the opposite
Just wanted to speak up for KDE Plasma. Its not fair that it gets so much hatred, it very much matured in the last year.
I will first say that I had so much problems with bugged KDE but that happened only on Fedora, Kubuntu... that is until I switched to Manjaro and stayed there for over a year.
Before KDE I used Xfce all the time because it really was the best thing for me, but later I felt the lack of features that KDE had. Mainly the Dolphin and the main launcher that can search your whole machine for files. Dolphin alone has so much features that it is easily the best file manager in Linux world.
I must say that over the years and changing so many distros/DEs I have come to the conclusion that distros/DEs behave differently on different machines, for me the most compatible one was Manjaro, never had any crashes or bugs to this day, pure happiness on my end and it doesnt mean that it will be same for other people which is the main reason the distro wars exist. We think that it works everywhere the same so we shill for it because it works for us. That pure wrong. Just like with KDE.
>>59071446
>t. Manshit shill
Used Plasma for 6 months. It never failed to crash horribly after 4 days uptime even on the official KDE Neon builds.
Oh, and it keeps a record of everything in your clipboard which means using a password manager is going to leak things. No, you can't turn that off.
>>59071446
even on Gentoo it idled a 4 core Haswell Xeon @ like 25%.
>I'm more of a jwm man anyway
I really like KDE Plasma - using it at the moment. It's one of the better DEs out there right now.
>There are literally and unironically people on this shithole of a board that don't want more competition.
>There are """""people""""" on this board that support technology companies like they are a sports team or some shit.
What went wrong?
>>59071234
I'm not so sure Intel isn't paying half of /g/ to shillpost.
it's like truck guys who argue ford vs. chevy
>>59071234
fuck off, one person on this board can look like 30 easy
and even as a shity board it is influential enough for some paid shill to speak good or bad about some topic
Should I buy this /g/or wait for the GPD Pocket? Also whatever happened to the Dragonbox Pyra?
Pyra is close to Mass production.
>>59071112
>>59073340
I actually made a thread about this also. It looks pretty fucking good! Can even run Skyrim and other games.
I would totally buy one if it was cheaper.
>>59072316
they've said for 2 years
>be apple
>stuck with overpriced stagnant intel chips
>dispatch your man jim to amd to stir shit up
>amd launches intel-level chips for the half price
>break the intel monopoly
>get amd & intel bidding in a race to the bottom to get their chips in the new macbooks
>go with the cheapest soc offered
>raise prices 20% anyway because hey it's a new chip and we think you're gonna love it
>quadruple profit margins on the entire line-up
>didn't even have to pay a penny to jim
nene is my mom!
>>59071079
Get back to work Nene.
I'm not waiting for Ryzen!
Nice gun
bu-but Ryzen's already out, shit's not happening, it has happened, for the r7's, I guess the budget people will need to continue waiting.
>>59070990
Poof, you're dead. Now you won't have to.
Asking here as a last resort since I can't seem to get any help
Would anyone here be able and willing to create a very simple Internet Beat Time tweak for iOS, replacing the lock screen's clock and the status bar clock with a beat-time clock? Thanks.

>>59070942
Murrican, I don't wanna aim too high.
I hear people can make 1500+ a month if they're good, but I'm tryign to aim what I think is realistic?

Is it morally wrong to spend Bitcoin available in a collided-generated address?
(this question is not about probability)
>>59069955
if you happened to make a key that fit into the lock of a random house, is it morally wrong to steal all their shit?
>>59070209
Yes. But the property of a house is nominal and not assigned by a key of any kind but instead, among others, by contracts and similar instruments.
The property of a Bitcoin address is assigned, by definition, to the owners of its multiple private keys, in part because of its anonymous nature.
People who use this technology are and must be aware that property is shared with other users, in fact, with all other users who can solve a mathematical problem.
Yet, collision may not be proposital.
Therefore, breaking into houses and colliding Bitcoin addresses are different situations, hence the question continues.

Agreed
