It's not doe.
Intel still has the server and workstation market by the balls. Zen seems to be marketing the gaming industry for some reason, even tho those little 8 cores will make decent workstations.
I may need to figure out my overclock limitations though, I havnt been below amd performance for a long g time and I damn sure ain't starting now.

If you would like to try out GNU/Linux you can do one of the following:
0) Install a GNU/Linux distribution of your choice in a Virtual Machine.
1) Use a live image and to boot directly into the GNU/Linux distribution without installing anything.
2) Dual boot the GNU/Linux distribution of your choice along with Windows or Mac.
3) Go balls deep and replace everything with GNU/Linux.

Am I missing any speed improvements?
Why are m.2 SSDs so much more expensive per gig than sata SSDs? I thought the main difference in hardware here is the controller which is a rather small part of the price to make it compared to the NAND. Is just just because they are "newer" so companies feel like they can charge a premium for them? At current prices which are like double price of SATA SSDs they don't seem worth while at at all.
>>59107262
>why are low supply items more expensive then high supply items
not sure op, but you do have to be at least 18 to view this site
>>59107292
M.2 actually has pretty high supply nowdays because the desktop market is shrinking and m.2 is more space effective than SATA drives which is important in laptops. These cheap m.2 drives just use SATA because Jews.
The controller is much more expensive than the NAND, that's been true for a very long time actually, it's why all the SSD quality drama has historically been over different suppliers and varied origins of memory controllers. Getting sustained 3GB/s and perfect RAID scaling in a controller takes a lot of money
Of course the up charge the fuck out of the end product just like 100% of computer hardware, but the controller, especially a top tier one, is not cheap at all

What do game rips have to do with this?
Post your component list, rate other anons', and ask questions in general.
Always state the purpose of your PC, your budget, AND YOUR COUNTRY if outside the USA.
If you are asking for improvements, clarify whether you want to lower price or to improve specs or build quality.
Assemble your parts list; built-in price comparisons by vendor and a compatibility filter.https://pcpartpicker.com

Seems kind of expensive for a B-model motherboard
The CPU EZ Debug LED on my motherboard stays on and my computer won't POST.
What could be the problem? I already RMA'd the motherboard once because it had bent pins.
Should I RMA the CPU too, or is something else the problem?
Last one is 300+

I know the album art of the file is fine, in windows explorer and in clementine it is how it should be. What should I do to make foobar display the right art?
>>59104659
Apparently the DCs/lag have been a geographical issue. Some people in the east coast have been playing without issues, while people on the west coast can't even open the client.
And I'm looking into PIA, it seems pretty good so far
