I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called ``Linux'', and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project. There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use.
Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine’s resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called ``Linux'' distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.

OP is clearly interested in a graphical tool for debugging the kernel.

Why do people love the Model M?

Its basically one of those 'half'mechanical keyboards. I dont understand why a membrane keyboard can go for so much money.

There were quite a few different versions of Model M. One of them does indeed have a rubber membrane, this is not the beloved Model M most people refer to. That one uses buckling springs instead.

I want to work on my programming skills in my down time at work, but the computers there are locked down. As such I can't download any IDE or compiler.

I would just use my laptop, but there's no wifi to find code snippets online and find resources to make my projects.

How would you program if all you had access to was notepad and firefox?

If you're so sure you made the right choice why do you seek validation you hypocritical fag?
It's obvious you don't believe it yourself and you are shitposting to seek validation.
go seek validation by actually not being a stupid shit at technology.

This goes to literally ever faggot that enters the board with 0 information of their own, just some shilling tactic to say "BTFO fags!"
Fuck those idiots. If you can't figure out what fucking CPU or GPU to get and you need validation on 4chan, go fuck yourself.
This goes to any AMD fag or Intel fag or NVIDIA fag, highschool stupid kid, having "favorite" companies still.

Hi /g/
I have a lenovo y510p with a GT750M5. I have another but can't enable SLI. I already flashed the BIOS with the official flash from Lenovo and went I slot the second GPU it won't boot past "unauthorized slave" error message.
Must be because I can't seem to get SLI enabled in the first place and flashing didn't work.

Any ideas? I'm running Windows 7 64bit.

Pic related, someone made it work one way or the other.

This is the most autistic shit ever. For the amount that you're spending you could have just built a proper high-end gaming desktop and gotten a cheap but still respectable laptop, too. Instead, you're using this ridiculous shit-tier laptop which is going to break down on you in just a couple of years, end up with 3-hour battery life, etc., and you're using it in conjunction with this hilarious and underpowered GPU setup. Jesus, dude, get your shit together.

No and no. Just a personal site. My fear is mostly security related.
>>
>>59161518
If you have the upstream, go for it, use nginx, and put cloudflare infront of you. It will be pretty nice.

Make sure nothing besides that port 80 is exposed though, like the public cant loopback into your shitty home router and start deleting the firmware

What are some applications of a neural network for a NEET /g/tard just looking to have some fun?

Machine Learning is a pretty broad and complex field.

I definietly would not start with NNs, which there are dozens if not hundreds of different ones from Markov chain Neural networks, to Naive Bayes NN and which both come in supervised and unsupervised models.

Start out with linear classification, like a perceptron, and go from there. Perceptrons also has weights like NNs do, so the perceptron model may help you understand NNs better.

Also if you don't have any experience in stats, precalc or linear algebra, you'll definetly have to take refresher courses before even looking at NNs.

Anyway a really good prof from caltech has online videos you can checkout, some Arab dude, very excellent professor though.

Just search youtube for "Yaser Machine Learning Caltech"
