I don't want this to turn into a console vs PC shitflinging contest and I assume you know more about the topic than the retards over at /v/ so I'm going to ask here. When do you think PS4 and Xbox One emulation will be a thing? Before or after we can emulate previous gen? So many people say that PS4 and Xbone should be easy to emulate due to their x86 architecture, but I don't know if that's true or memes born from ignorance on the subject
I just think the whole field of emulating consoles is pretty cool and interesting and would like to know a bit more how it works and why it's so hard to pull off for certain consoles
>>59250258
never ... you'd have to do so much reverse engineering its not even funny anymore
these consoles are walled garden and propriertary hellholes
>>59250258
Not even Xbox 360 and PS3 emulation are a thing yet. Hell, even PS2 emulation is buggy as shit.
>>59250273
basically this, hardware wouldn't be the issue and it isn't for the ps3 or 360 either
>tfw RYZEN is not a one for all solution to intel
>>59250077
It is if you've been stuck waiting for an affordable 8c/16t CPU.
>>59250077
>tfw ryzen revealed 1/3 of their lineup
>tfw ryzen needs to find optimisation first because the last 6 years had been optimised for intel only
>>59250670
Once the rest of Ryzen launches, mobo/scheduler issues are sorted out and devs start optimizing for it, Intel is in deep shit. It will only take a year or so for this to happen.
Hey /g/, what's a non-shit whole-page screenshot addon for firefox?
shift + f2
type in screenshot --fullpage
dev console -> screenshot --fullpage
delete your thread now please.

FireShot.
How do we fix this program to make it as good as MPC-HC ???
>3 threads
>no log
Sure thing MADshi
>>59249896
Why would we want to?
MPC-HC playing this video flawlessly with low cpu usage.
Anyone else getting flashbacks to Tek Syndicate's 3570k vs 8350 video that blew up back then?
All the benches showed the 8350 under-performing for games and then Logan comes along and shows it's all fine and dandy. This time it's the 1700 and this Joker video. Why do people fall for this every time?
>joker confirmed shilltard and overall fucking faggot

So the one benchmark Ryzenfags were posting all over /g/ was fake
huh, how about that
Apple- the company that saves all your messages even after you delete them... because that makes sense. How do I permanently get rid of deleted iMessages, /g/?

You don't
Turn back time and use non-cucked software
Been looking for building a computer. Parts are bloody expensive so do you guys know any good sites to buy cheap CPU, Ram, Motherboard, cpu cooling etc.

Since when? A high-end setup is rarely over $2k, and even a $800 one isn't terribly bad.
Just order on typical stores for your country that you can easily find by just looking around on your favorite search engine.
eBay can be good, takes a bit of work to find good things however.
I just bought 4x8GB of DDR4 RAM 3000MHz C16 for $150. I think I'm just going to sell two of the modules, this reducing the price of my 16GB
8k 140hz oled when?
>>59249633
in about 2 years
>>59249647
>2 years closer to death
>>59249633
8K is 4x more pixels than 4K, and the only 4K 144hz display that's out there needs two P6000's to run it. Resolutions are quickly outpacing our ability to deliver the needed pixels.
I think I finally realized why /g/ hates gaming PC threads so much.

How?
Those often inflate because of simplistic method. Better benchmark on games and workstation applications you actual use. You will see then the sweet spot for most people is clearly a 4core/8thread chip.
4core/4t for a more poorfagging mode.
2core/4 for basic office poorfagging.

can't you do that with a GPU?
Hey /g/ I'm trying to update the OS on pic related to atleast 10.8 or higher. How can I go about this?
Install Gentoo.
>>59249207
easy, you simply don't.
>>59249207
Whats the model ID faggot.
macbook5,2 can run 10.11
macbook 6,1 and macbook7,1 can run 10.12
Anything earlier can only run up to 10.7 unless its a macbook1,1, they can only run up to 10.6

An "e".
It is not inaccurate to say that the creation of the Internet, in itself, created a new world, a new realm of being. With it came all the parts of humanity that are normally kept in check by unconscious bioprograms, free to express themselves without the identity playing a role. In the nascent era of this seemingly chimerical creation, this was most prevalent.
How do you think this has changed in the present?
>>59249381
I don't think anyone on /g/ has word of the day toilet paper. This is the same world only better connected. Freedom of speech is a good thing.
>>59249056
The internet still holds all those attributes. Unfortunately big corporations want to fuck it up by keeping people in their money making walled garden, just as they have done to us lowly citizens in physical space.
How about a post your printer thread? Cause printing is tech to, right? Pic is mine, HP C-1340 all in one. From 2006. Still works perfectly and HP still makes ink for it. Anymore all I really use it for though is the scan/copy features.
printer sales drone here
Brother makes the best consumer-grade printers by far
Epson is fine too
Canon should stick to cameras
HP needs to fucking die and so does anyone who buys one of their shitty home inkjets. lasers and business inkjets are pretty good though
>>59249022
i really gave up on printers at home. Whenever i had one the ink got dry, empty too fast.. too expensive to replace etc.
Its just disgusting. If you have the luxury to print everything you need out in the office thats fine for anyone else universities should do or even a copy shop. Fuck printers.
