Are any of the password services trustworthy? I recently got compromised and wanna hash up all my logins for safety reasons, but I'm unsure if there is any trustworthy services out there. I have heard reports where some of them sell your info.

>Are any of the password services trustworthy?
No. Use a local utility that doesn't touch your browser or the cloud if you have to use something.
>>59307432
Ok, what kind of local utility are we talking about here? I still want to be able to log into stuff on my phone and whatnot, but I'm pretty sure I need to sit down and randomize all my passwords and I want to be able to track them all.
>>59307457
Something like pass, the standard unix password manager
It's time. Functional is the future, VMs and garbage collectors are the future. There is no excuse for using C or C++. There is no excuse for allowing illegal states to happen.
The ONLY way we get secure software is by perfecting functional or managed compilation and abandoning insecure memory models. And it MUST be free as in freedom.

But MUUHHH Botnet, amirite? How can anyone of you actually use this pile of shit? Especially if you have xposed with modules for adblocking, dark mode and background playback like I do.

I mostly use it for my podcasts and longer videos so I can play it in the background and relax while doing something else.
8/10 Would app again.
I missed the CIA leak story this week
Someone give me a brief gestalt of what new alphabet-men botnet we now know about
the CIA can hack smart tv's and phones, and most other internet connected devices.
there is a US spy department working in an embassy in Frankfurt, Germany
CIA compromised everything including linux and telegraph.

> 'Improvise' is a toolset for configuration, post-processing, payload setup and execution vector selection for survey/exfiltration tools supporting all major operating systems like Windows (Bartender), MacOS (JukeBox) and Linux (DanceFloor). Its configuration utilities like Margarita allows the NOC (Network Operation Center) to customize tools based on requirements from 'Fine Dining' questionairies.
From Vault7 (CIA-leak).
Linux isn't even safe anymore. What is it still good for now?

What I am more interested in is how they come up with these weird names.

A family member's hard-drive corrupted and has a lot of work on it, she didn't back it up anywhere.
She downloaded some data recovery software and it has found all of the files however the goyims are demanding a fee of $100.
What is another method to recovery her files that won't be so costly /g/?

In the new GPU APIs, out of the 3 advantages usually cited (pic related) 2 of them offload even more stuff onto the GPUs. That makes CPUs even more irrelevant than they already are when it gets to popular gaming. Most developers were not limited due to lack of CPU multithreading, they were limited due to GPU/VRAM I/O.
That is not even limited to popular gaming since basic rendering and in some cases basic encoding also can be more efficiently done on a GPU nowadays. When possible, GPUs add functionality for even more computation. GPUs become more important on gaming and basic rendering every single iteration for decades now.
Sure you do need serial machines for complex computation but fuck off with the delusion most people will need it. The best you can hope for is slow gradual improvement that may make 6c/12 a new sweet spot for most people instead 4c/8t in more than 4 years from now. For most needs, Workstations are no different at that.

Where can I get a hold of some fake filesystems for this? The default one isn't very convincing.
Making your own is the only way to not be detected automatically.
>>59306375
How is that done? bin/createfs just creates the default filesystem
So for many of you anons Kali is the masterrace OS.
Just give it a few good words.
What do you use Kali for what makes it so great !?.
Kali Appreciation nignogs.
Should have mention: beside hacking/programming its useless to my POV.
>>59306314
kali si debian with hackerman software preinstalled. There is not so much to say about apart from this.
>>59306314
You shouldn't use Kali as your main OS. Just boot to it off a USB or some shit when you need it.

I haven't done this in ages. Right now I'm burning a buncha random music videos on a CD to give to a friend. Mainly because I think last time I gave him a thumbstick he lost it.
I haven't done this in ages. I also found a buncha old CD with some anime episodes and trailers and AMVs on it.
Damn.
Anyone else done something or used some old format that brought back memories?
