lmao. When will linux cucks ever learn?
>>59357818
Means linux is a smaller target, linux OS'es are the safest right now. 99% of malware on the web is made for windows.
>>59357848
malware won't exist any more once MS blocks normies from running programs that don't come from the windows store.

Thinking of buying a shitty cheap subwoofer to play wacka flocka with my friends, like this one http://www.trademe.co.nz/electronics-photography/home-audio/speakers-and-stands/subs/auction-1275820147.htm .
Only thing I don't understand is how they work, specifically this one. I dont see anywhere a power cable can go and I was wondering how I would set this up so I could play music from my ipod into that.
Also, what kind of subwoofer do I get if i want it to be semi-portable. I'm not looking to create a home theater

kys. kys in the most painful way you can think of.

The only time I ever use W10 is if I'm playing a game that requires it.

Before editing the config file of irssi was on super user by doing 'sudo su'. Now every time I start irssi i get the default configuration, I have to enter super user for mt configuration to load. My question is this: How many config files does irssi have? I wanna backup my current config but .irssi/config doesn't contain my config. Can I export my settings while running irssi?
This doesn't deserve a thread
most programs will have a global and local config, sounds like you edited a global one or something
yes you can always export like that this isn't windows or a database
>>59357394
your config is probably in /root/.irssi/config
or somewhere in etc. don't do that. put your config in *your* directory.
same problem here
Let's get right to the chase, I have a college-level data structures (on Java) exam on recursion, stacks, queues and iterators next week
I'm having problems with implementations using linked lists, any tips on how to learn these topics by myself in less than a week? I have the basic knowledge on how to work with linked lists and array lists, and I have no problem with recursion or iterators
download more knowledge
>>59357419
Where do you recommend doing so? I already downloaded my fill of RAM
>>59357392
When I was learning this stuff, what I did is draw pictures. I drew pictures of each process to help me understand it.
Here's an example of a drawing I made for a linked list add in the middle of two nodes:

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called "Linux", and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.
There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine's resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called "Linux" distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.
Any of you NEETS successful in virtualization of OS X?
I'm trying to get it up in VMware workstation, on an AMD processor. Would like to know more about the thing I've bashed for years.
Any successful guide? Reputable sources?
Every guide I've seen seems to have varied responses of it working well.
>>59357286
it doesnt work well on any machine in a virtual machine tbqh
its nice to check it out but its not really something you can spin up and use for some major tasks
>>59357303
not looking to use for PS or any other kind of editing-- more general familiarity, system tweaking and terminal
>>59357320
it should work then ... whats the issue!?
the only problem you will face is full screen mode (you need to run some shit for it - i forgot what it was but im sure there are tutorials ) but other than that ...
whats stopping you from trying?! just follow a tutorial that explains how to add it to vmware
