So, now we know the truth. CIA data clearly shows that iOS is much better than Android for security. Not even the CIA has a working iOS 10 exploit while they have OVER TWENTY ANDROID ZERO DAYS!

Evidence is quite clear. Explain yourselves, androidfags.

Over 75% of iPhones in the wild are iOS 10. They don't do shit to them, retard.

Android never gets security updates. You get security updates when you buy a new phone.

Post your component list, rate other anons', and ask questions in general.

Always state the purpose of your PC, your budget, AND YOUR COUNTRY if outside the USA.
If you are asking for improvements, clarify whether you want to lower price or to improve specs or build quality.

Assemble your parts list; built-in price comparisons by vendor and a compatibility filter.

Hey guys I'm new to BSD and would like your opinions?
I installed OpenBSD on my x200 with libreboot yesterday and wasn't impressed at all...
Slower performance than Debian on the same machine, no packages and still have to get wireless working. Also no fucking info if you ran into troubles. Is it worth it for the security it offers? Is FreeBSD more user-friendly?

First computer i've built.

Managed to get the last in stock motherboard at CanadaComputers. Everything went smoothly but the stock cooler was worrisom to install. screws didn't seem to align well with Asus b350 plus. Had to apply some small pressure. Don't know why Speccy is not knowing the name of my RAM but in the asus bios it runs what it was advertised (2400mhz) 2 x8gb Hyper X fury. I kinda went J U S T mode on the cable management at the back of the case and thankfully the panel fit. P400 phanteks btw. IO shield they give is pure cancerous.

Any other amdbros got their builds yet?

FAQ
>What is TempleOS?
See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MT7yvaGN0ZU --TempleOS (formerly J Operating System, SparrowOS and LoseThos) is a biblical themed lightweight operating system created over the span of a decade by programmer Terry A. Davis.
>How did TempleOS start?
Development for TempleOS began in 2003 after Davis suffered from a series of manic episodes that left him briefly hospitalized for mental health issues.
Davis is a former atheist who believes that he can "talk with God" and that God told him the operating system he built was God's official temple. According to Davis TempleOS is of 'Divine' intellect due to the inspired nature of the code. According to Davis, God said to create the operating system with 640x480, 16 colors display and a single audio voice. The operating system was coded in a programming language developed by Davis in C/C++ called "HolyC". The OS runs a file system called "Red Sea".
>What can TempleOS do?
TempleOS deliberately has no network support. It runs 8-bit ASCII with graphics in source code and has a 2D and 3D graphics library, which run at 640x480 VGA with 16 colors. The OS contains numerous embedded biblical references including a program called AfterEgypt which allows users to "communicate with God" through an oracle.

How come CPUs have been hovering around 3-4GHz for so long now?

Is this a limitation of current processor technology? Does going over a certain frequency just trigger unreasonable heat and power consumption?

It's been almost 15 years and we're still hovering around the same frequency.
194 posts and 14 images submitted.
>>
>>59343943
>Is this a limitation of current processor technology?
possibly yes and even if not, 99% of people don't need more
it's strange that people buy new cpus, buy only one and stick with it for 10 years
>>
Because we've found a sort of sweet spot with frequency's. If we raise it much further then we consume alot more power, and generate alot more heat, it's just not worth it. Better to find other ways to increase efficiency and speed.
