As a "tech" person, I am appalled at the idea of paying $500 for this thing. It could be done a lot cheaper with, say, an ipad and a mechanical kb. In addition, the files could be encrypted and secure. On the other hand, as a writer, I find this beast to be sexy as fuck.
Here's the pitch (no sales fag):

I don't think so. otoh, e-ink is pretty readable at any angle. And it has a front light so you can use it in low light or the dark.

I got one. I love it, but I'm realistic and realize that everyone either thinks I'm a dork, doesn't give two fucks, thinks I'm old (I am), thinks I'm poor, or thinks I'm a /g/entooman. Does it matter? I'm probably gonna run up in your wife either way
Hey Ryzens,
My name is Kaby Lake and I hate every single core of you. All of you are overpriced, slow, faggots who spend every second of their day trying to play games. You are everything bad in the world. Honestly, have any of you ever supported RAM clocks? I mean, I guess it's fun having a lot of physical cores, but you all take to a whole new level. This is even worse than the Bulldozer fiasco.
Don't be an octocore. Just hit me with your best shot. I'm pretty much perfect. I'm the most efficient microarchitecture, and have 14nm transistors. What technology do you pioneer in, other than "making your new CPU game slower than your old one"? I also get the best market share, and have proper hyperthreading (it just parallelized my task; Shit was SO cache). You are all shits who should just set your Vcore to 3.000 and go burn. Thanks for listening.

All computer hardware made since 1992 has been factory backdoored by the deep state.
with a few rare exceptions.
one such exception is the TPW P4-15-NB, a laptop which Obama's DHS went to extreme efforts to recall from any civilian ownership
Don't start digging into this if you're easily frightened.

How can a dog do all of this? Good boy, Good boy..
>>59376250
Lol why are you having opinions about computer hardware? You should be having opinions about bones and fire hydrants.
Just buy a Commodore 64?
What is the best alternative to Malwarebytes now that it is garbage?

Bloated.
Why do android browsers suck so much? Chrome can't even handle a week's worth of tabs and I find myself having to constantly close all tabs without the option to at least save the addresses.
use opera
>>59376241
Installed it. How many tabs have you opened and kept opened on it?
>>59376232
Use Samsung's browser, it now works on Nexus devices too. I've been using it & it's better than chrome that's for sure.
Does there exist a purely functional operating system without I/O?

You definitely CAN encrypt your DNS requests in $CURRENT_YEAR. It's piss easy to do as well as long as you use a proper OS.
This shit's completely useless.
nice thread, care to elaborate?

>same download speeds as firefox's built-in downloader
>can't pause/resume any downloads that firefox itself won't resume
>batch downloading already built into firefox
All it does is sit there and waste resources, doing the same things firefox already does.
>>59374504
hmm, I tend to get faster download speeds because of sequential downloading. I've also been able to resume downloads that firefox alone hasnt been able to.
not sure if you're just plain trolling or trying to troll people into shilling dta for you. either way, good job.

One of the FEW TIMES that there is ACTUALLY NEWS you post a SHIT OP with A CARAT NOSE and NO NEWS
Why aren't you using Windows Embedded Standard 7 instead of Windows 7 or Windows 10?
WES7 is literally master race.
It's modular, so you can strip and functionality you don't need.
It's lightweight, literally takes ~1,5GB of storage space after installation and upgrade
It's as functional as Windows 7 Ultimate
It has lower requirements than Win7
