Guys, I need your help, I need to identify this... I don't even know what's called in English (sorry).
It's used to connect a data aquisition system (Spider8) to the PC. I need a name for it to know what to search for online.

Right my rig is over 7 years old now. Most games i need to turn settings to low or medium to get my 60FPS now. looking for some quick wins to improve my rig.
Most demanding games I'm playing are Killing Floor 2 , Resident evil 7 and i'm wanting to play Ghost Recons wildandlas when i see it on sale.
current specs:
core i5 2500k
amd radeon 6950 2GB
corsair 4 X 2GB DDR3
1TB Samsumg harddrive
ASRock z68 motherboard
Thiking of getting another 6950 to crossfire and maybe an SSD. Are these good ideas? Give some suggestions guys.

Just install Gentoo you fucking retard
>>59386450
The GTX 1060 is pretty good value and will be enough for Resident Evil 7 and Ghost Recon WIldlands
SSD is probably a good idea too

Are there any job prospects for programmers online? I mean something like the freelancer rent a coder. Before you say if you're good enough to make money online you may just as well work irl and make double what you'd make, I know that and that's precisely why I ask...
>>59386329
Go work on fiver
>>59386900
I know there are freelancer coder sites, I asked if skilled people really make a living that way, especially considering there are a billion Indians and Chinamen who can do it too online.

Seriously, why are you still using this piece of shit software?
Better than the alternatives.

Firefox is the worst but it's the best of the worst.
If you are going to make this thread at least attempt to convert them to a better browser.
>Intel Corp (INTC.O) agreed to buy Israeli self-driving technology firm Mobileye (MBLY.N) for $15.3 billion on Monday in a deal that could thrust the U.S. chipmaker into direct competition with rivals Nvidia Corp (NVDA.O) and Qualcomm Inc (QCOM.O) to develop driverless systems and components for global automakers.
>The acquisition of Mobileye could propel the world's largest computer chipmaker into the front ranks of automotive suppliers at a time when Intel has been downplaying its core semiconductor business. It also promises to escalate the arms race among the world's carmakers and suppliers to acquire autonomous vehicle technology, and could fuel already-overheated valuations of self-driving startups.

Intel is scared, they are devolving in a IoT company.

You graduated from college with a computer science degree?
You get two offers
>software engineering position at Fidelity Investments
>64k + 5k starting bonus
OR
>Redhat se internship that could very well lead to a full time job
>50 an hour
I'm leaning towards Fidelity but redhat is that, it's fucking redhat I would never leave that company for the rest of my career
>>59385988
I'd take the job at Red Hat just so I wouldn't have to deal with Windows in the course of my job
>>59385988
Fidelity Investments obviously.
Later on its easier to get into tech from finance but its for sure harder to get into finance from tech. it leaves you more options later down the road.
because lets say you are so done with tech that you want to get out and then you can rely on finance experience and get an automatic advantage as a sdev for a bank or smth for example.
Tech is tech and everyone knows a sdev from a bank can work in tech because coding is coding but banks, finance are autistic they want to know that you have at least some idea about business in general
>>59385988
so redhat is 144K a year? just saying..
I might write a script to help build legitimate comment karma across multiple reddit accounts that I would then sell. Is comment karma worth anything? Or just link karma?
>>59385942
Both are ok, but comment karma's worth more. It's more important for those who buy accounts that the thing looks like an actual person posting. You could probably get $5 a pop especially if they're more than a month old.
>>59385942
>plebbit users actually care about some bullshit virtual stat
4chin was right, that place truly is cancer. Also fuck off.
>>59385942
right now you have people deploying shit bots that randomly generate comments on different subs. They mostly are worth it because they have a somewhat plausible comment history that then can be used by pajeets or any other cum guzzler to post/promote crap on top threads.
Kharma is worth something as long as the account seems to have a real comment history and not 2 days old. If you have a bunch of 1 year old accounts (over a hundred) with that, you can do a lot of stuff, not only sell them.
Who here true Model M mechanical master race?
>>59385929
lol i have blue alps
Do they still make those? I bet they could sell them for upwards of $300, 400, or even 500 with enough marketing
>>59385929
lmao my grampa used to have a keyboard like that
why would you want something old like that? fuckin gross
