IBM did the right thing. The consumer notebook market is a meme and most professionals are perfectly fine with MBPs and Dell Laptops and for those money doesnt matter anyway.

Consumers just care about fancy design, windows and facebook. Why invest in epic laptops that please the few autistic enthusiasts?!

How many people on /g/ actually bought a new T420 or X220 when it came out? Nobody - so when IBM is not making any money and Lenovo isn't either how come you are surprised that the quality declined?

Kick out gaymerfags.
No, gamers, you don't know shit about computers. You listen to label reader reviewers who judge based on the size of the paycheck in the mailbox. Your best answer to "what should I look for in a new computer" is "hurr it should have flashing RGBs on the memory sticks".

Is it possible to create a browser extension that will simply bypass what the browser normally reports to websites in order to make everyone with this extension have the same fingerprint? Preferably, this fingerprint will be as generic as possible, so it would be similar to people without the extension as well.

>>
>>59397375
Bump because I wonder as well
>>
>>59397375
you can spoof your user-agent and such, some things only if you like things to break
>>
>>59397375
Well, in order to bypass webgl fingerprinting you will have to hook some of opengl functions (glReadPixels() for instance). If you can do that from an browser extension then yes it is possible. There is also a canvas fingerprinting which is similar but uses different method (idk which one) to draw shit.

Is there any purpose in using these coolants? Can processors perform better or faster the colder they are?

Because for actual cooling it's shit. Becomes gaseous at a Temperature just a few Kelvins higher (at the surface of the chip). And gases have really bad heat conductivity. So it is very ineffective.

If you have nothing to hide, post your full name and home address, as well as every phone number of you and your immediate family. Post your browser history, and all recent purchases. Also, post the entire logs of every discord chat you have been a part of.
>>
>>59397311
thats a little extreme, dont you think?
>>
>>59397323
No, it's not. If you have nothing to hide, do it. You don't have anything to hide, do you?
Websites/analysts already have all of that data, assuming you shop on places like Amazon, chat on Discord, use Google Chrome or any other botnet web browser, and use stock Win8/8.1/10.

If you think that this is all there is to CPU performance, you clearly know nothing.

That assumption would also assume that I believe the FX9350 performs better than Kaby Lake. I am sad that you think anyone could be that ignorant.

I'd just like to see it from a design standpoint.
