>press minus key for -

Why? Who thought this would be a good idea?
The person realizing it doesn't matter since people will just use the plus and minus signs on the numpad.
I believe IBM did, a long time ago.

Tell us about your Dad /g/.
>Got into the computer science hobby since the first semi-affordable computers came out.
>Was among the first internet users in Australia.
>Got my mom to use the only computer terminal in her office building to have one of the first overseas long-distance relationships over internet.
>His room is a dusty mess of wires, Arduinos, and reeks of soldering fumes.
>Runs an old clunky Japanese ThinkPad.
>Uses said ThinkPad to trade in the stock market and coding.
>Is an severely underpaid PhD desk jockey, but still finds time to go tinkering.
>Mastered coding all known languages.
>I go to him for coding advice, he's the best one I know.
I love you Dad.

my dad is a firefighter who can't use computers really
he has a laptop and spends hours doing the easiest things. I wish he'd switch to macOS cause it would be way easier for him but he spent years learning windows so i guess its too late.
>>59416700
I'm currently 21 btw
>got into computers at a very young age
>grew up on my dads thinkpads
>dad would rip games from CDs and I would trade it with class mates for their games
>dad was an IT manager for multiple companies which caused him to travel a lot
>he got all the fun toys from his work, like old Sun servers
>my brother and I got into programming and server stuff
>father gets us a laptop with red hat on it
>learn GNU/Linux
>Dad hosted a server at his work for us
ugh I love you Dad

Oh wow, what a surprise.
I'm interested in dual booting OS X on my machine, wanted to know what's the easiest way (or hard way) to go about it?
My motherboard is a Z270K and CPU is an i7 6700K.
Found this article, will I need something more?

https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/unibeast-install-macos-sierra-on-any-supported-intel-based-pc.200564/
Installation is really easy. Post Installation its where it gets tricky.
REALLY look at the details of your motherboard . Find out the exact Ethernet and Audio Drivers you need.
Can get a bit tricky but it shouldn't be a problem with your motherboard and cpu.
>>59416482
if you don't have a copy of sierra right now start up a VM and download a legit version from the AppStore
Use some torrented version for the DM or something.
>>59416482
Thanks, I'm going to give it a go with Unibeast and it looked like the post install is where it gets murky. I was thinking my mobo isn't that rare so I thought someone must've done it in the community

These things are still coming out by the truckload, they're also getting cheaper.
I'm not sure what you mean.

How do I get my AMD FX8350 into my t420 thinkpad?
How do I get Windows to stop showing thet popup window that comes up in the middle of the screen every time I plug in removable media? I set everything to "take no action" in Autoplay settings but all it did was make it so that the window only disappears after it finishes saying "scanning media".
Which is better for DDR4 RAM, CL15 @ 2666 MHz or CL14 @ CL14?
