Is $24million enough to buy all the latest gadgets you want for the rest of your life?

It's enough to buy that rare pepe
>>
>>59437855
What do you mean all the latest gadgets?
Like literally every time a gadget comes out you buy it? Then probably not.
If you mean like 2-3 flagship smartphones and a few top-of-the-line computers and a few random gadgets like consoles a year, then yes.

Unless you buy rare/collector edition of everything, you'll only gonna spend a small fraction of that 24M.
>>
you need just $500,000 invested before what you earn in interest outpaces your basic needs spending, so yes

So I am about to finish my AA in cybersecurity and honestly I did not learn too much. No way I feel prepared for anything above help desk. Basically wondering if any infosec, networking or even IT guys can tell me what I should work on teaching myself such as skills and knowledge so I don't look like a jackass when I start applying.

you should have a lab by now to practice, and if you already have not been doing interviews and getting job offers you picked the wrong school
>>
>>59437732
lol its just community college, and I tried and they only offered me some unpaid internships.
>>
Depends what you're looking for. Can you pick some moderately difficult CVE and write an exploit, perhaps finish some of the wargames out there? Then you do have a future.

If not, you're doomed to be a tardy monkey installing windows AVs at worst, running metasploit and printing nmap reports at best.

That said the segment is somewhat hyped recently, and general public is adequately clueless. It's a bit like making websites in the 90s. PHBs can't easily tell if you suck at it.

Try to avoid peers if you suck and socialize instead, steal their credit etc if you can. Generally try to avoid oldschool infosecfaggtory, which is a ruthless meritocracy.

If you manage to get a job, prepare for massive ripoff initially, you can't ask for much at this point, especially w/o CS degree. If you luck out, you can make it as a corporate rat on the ladder.

if you could pay 2$ per month to download torrents totally anonymously, would you pay for it?
You could also download torrents from networks where torrenting is blocked.

Force encrypted transfers. Also deep packet inspection by ISP's is illegal in most parts of the developed word; not sure about the US though.

Which of the two OSes is better for security? Which of them has better DESKTOP/user-space security?

PS: Remember when this happened? Has Windows had a security hole that big, that bad, and for that long?

Windows has better anti exploitation features in the kernel, this is a fact.

the weakest link is the user, not the operating system

Less people make malware for Linux because Windows is overwhelming used more. Also, people who have Linux are generally more tech savvy, and there are some better aspects of security on Linux, such as file permissions and not being a root user.

So I bought an actual slot machine. I've been learning a bunch since about the technical aspects of them. From the software to the simple guts of the machines, It's kinda fun actually understanding the workings behind these money eating monsters.

So here are the guts of the money eating machine. Most importantly the 2 eprom chups at the upper right of the pic with labels. Those determine your game and odds. My machine has an SS4254 Reel PROM and SP731 Game PROM which equates to a 90.035% paypack probability (assuming you play for X times which I dunno at this time)

Sorry for the bad lighting.

Got it for $550. This one was equipped for using quarters and bills...though the bill validator is older and can't handle newer $5 bills.

Here are the main guts when opened. You've got the reels, the hopper, and the bill validator and cash box.

I use Squirrelmail. It's horribly slow and unconventional. I haven't bothered to switch yet tho. Regarding the other two, I have no personal experience with them desu senpai.
