Anyone have a fix for this? The page seems to load but then I get this anti-adblocer type thing that blocks the article.
Wat do?

Stop viewing the New York Times.

this, fuck that noise.

Just go private/incognito I'm pretty sure. Works with every news site I read
It's clearly better
16:9 is better for games.
16:10 is better for work.
4:3 is irrelevant.
4:3 was perfect, we should have never abandoned it.

lmao
(pic related)
Look what followed me home, /g/.
Also, my very first laptop.
How did I do? Any apps you recommend for web dev?
install gentoo
>>59550353
>install gentoo
Eeeew! No thanks. Only Windows and OSX in my household.
Why are websites identified by a domain? Why not a public key fingerprint? Wouldn't it be more secure? Being unreadable doesn't really matter as we have search engines, and honestly, when was the last time you wrote down a domain for someone?
>>59550328
>when was the last time you wrote down a domain for someone?
like 5 minutes ago
search engines create a filter bubble, are a botnet and use a major portion of energie for each search query
>>59550475
>>59550328
Besides, the problem #1 - domain registration - would remain.
I access websites by domain all the time
>why don't we ensure that all internet access has to go through private corporations like Google
>>59522487 continued.
Anon delivered nib p67 acquired.

it's either stolen, broken, or you're a piece of shit for ripping her off so hard.
my money is on it being her ex boyfriends before she cheated on him.
>>59550337
Army wife. Hubby has been deployed since it was new and just wanted rid of it. Doesn't look broken. We'll see. Was asking $100 and took my $80 starting offer. How much do these usually cost?

it's an ancient chipset, it's a crime that these motherboards can be worth more than 50 dollars. you can thank jewtel for changing sockets every cpu iteration.
From my home network, is there any way I can boot a specific computer off the router? Basically, I need a way to turn on/off their internet usage with a simple app or program while keeping all other connections in working order.. Any help would be appreciated.
>>59550243
you must be 18 or older to use this website
>>59550263
I'm old enough to be your daddy.
>>59550295
Not old enough to know you should ask those stupid questions on google first.
If you had any idea how a router worked or knew anything about computer networks you would know the answer to that quest, therefore if you're asking it, you're not from here.
Go away and never come back.
do I need more thermal paste?
Never enough.
Cum on it
>TROLL.jpg
subtle
Did I fuck up?
Also, screenfetch/neofetch thread, I guess.
Yes. Now delete it and install LFS.
>>59550022
Never heard of it. What's differentiates it?
>>59550022
Yes, now install Gentoo.
Say it with me: ThinkPhone
no
take your shit facebook toy to leddit where it belongs
>>59549996
Using it right now. Great phone, it's a shame that the 3 and 3T fell for the thin meme.
>touchscreen
>no physical keypad
>made of glass which cracks
>make of metal which bends
>bigger than 4 inches
It's shit desu
It's oversized, overpriced glass and metal shit design to be a fashion accessory that breaks easily
Looking for a computer science lecture that starts out with them crossing out the words computer and then science. Does anyone know?
I know what you're talking about. Let me try to find it real quick.
>>59549925
What's the name of that book again?
Hey /g/
I'm interested in buying a laser. The problem is there's so many of them, many variations, and I don't know where to start. Can anyone here recommend a decently priced recreational laser that will at least reach a mile or two away? Thanks in advance.
>>59549907
Bump
>>59549969
what do you need one for?
green light reaches the furthest btw.
>tfw you fell for the inkjet meme for 20 years of using computers before finding the superiority of laser printing
No more having my printer get fucked up because I didn't use it in a week so my ink nozzles get clocked with dried ink. Thank fucking christ.
Yep same here. But that relief though is just to great
>>59549780
As much as it pains me to say, inkjets still have it all over laserprinters for color. Especially photographs. But other than that, yeah. Inkjets are trash.
>not using a continuous ink supply system
cheaper than laser and you can print on photo paper.
1. Android phone finally breaks
2. put my sim card into my old iPhone 5 that's been in a draw for years
3. Wipe phone and set up as new
4. Immediately get a Russian language sms saying my phone was found
Why?
5. Use itunes on my computer to update and set up as new phone.
6. no problems
>>59549743
>iPhone
Found your problem.
>>59549844
This, iphones are literally worse than chinkshit.
Are you getting paid to shitpost about Apple 24/7 or is it just mental illness?
99% of your posts are bullshit anti-apple trolls.
Seek mental help. I hear Prozac can do wonders.
What do you keep your notes in, anon?
You do have notes, right?
"Notes" app
On "New Text Document.txt". I love One Note though. And regular notebooks.
I have a bunch of paper notebooks, it really helps when memorizing unfamiliar concepts, even if I never look over the notes again, I just need the action of writing them down to commit them properly.
Also, if I didn't do this, my handwriting would deteriorate.
>TFW I wasted thousands of hours on 4chan instead of doing something productive
>TFW didn't even learn fucking programming
>>59549635
And yet you created another bait thread.
>>59549635
I'm glad I learned programming a decade ago when I was just a lurker and never posted
>>59549635
Yeah same but I feel like I've been in a really cloudy state for some months now, hard time thinking clearly, I wonder if I'm turning retarded
