forgive me if they do, but why don't AMD make mobile phone chips? Nvidia and Intel do
>>59600876
>NVIDIA
Housefires.
>Intel
Shit, x86, also housefires.
Poor power efficiency up until they made ryzen, their APUs/SoCs are pretty powerful for what they are, they just lack the efficiency thats needed in mobile platforms.
>>59600884
Meant to add, depending how well ryzen can scale down it might not be impossible for them to make a small dip into the phone chip market.
What antivirus do you use to keep the Russian Reds off your PC?
I use common sense and malwarebytes for occasional scans.
I use an operating system that doesn't treat email attachments as executables
fuck off, this isn't a Windows board

Avast Free & SuperAntiSpyware.
How do you get a job as a programmer if you have no references? All jobs nowdays require past working experience which I do not have as I am post grad.
>>59600847
contract jobs then move into full-time

During being an undergraduate in your University, weren't you offered any jobs, just to git gud? That's where usually people start I guess.

are 1366x768 lenovo laptops always 15'6 inch?

anon y ;_;
>>59600717
Not topic of the thread, but torrenting has no benefit of watching mongolian cartoons. People mainly do it to feel superior than the ''bleps'' who stream it.
>>59600730
To answer your original question, I don't know about Lenovo's newer laptops, but they can't be just limited to that size with that resolution. It's just impossible. There have to be smaller laptops with a smaller resolution. It just doesn't make sense otherwise.
>torrenting has no benefit
I'd admit, the streaming technology has gotten better since the old days, where streaming was absolutely haram. But you still get a somewhat bit-starved encode, you can't apply any filters or any resizing algorithms to improve the quality, you can't hide the subs to take a decent screenshot. Torrenting is not quite dead yet. Streaming is just fine when you just want to watch certain series quickly, without waiting for the download to finish, but if you really care about quality, you'd download stuff.
KissAnime are using mainly HS rips that aren't that good, so you're not missing out that much.
I haven't seen IRL money in so many years. I didn't know other countries still used it.

Text Editor Performance Comparison
https://github.com/jhallen/joes-sandbox/tree/master/editor-perf
Summary:
Lest RAM consumed: ed, ne, mcedit
Most RAM consumed: vscode, atom and jedit
Fastest: ne, mcedit, joe
Slowest: atom, vscode
>>59600527
Just use nano and vi like a normal person you hipster
>>59600527
ed is great if absolutely everything fails and you have to connect via some insanely old archaic connector
it has no memory footprint because it was written for accessing a unix system via a teletype device over a modem, you have to enable things like error messages and prompts
>>59600527
vim wins again, VS faggots on suicide watch

You mean asking for too much money.
hard to get jobs in real languages (less easy entry)
try meme languages like PHP or Node instead

I'm tired of the oop meme

how does apple remove f keys thinking a touch strip is going to give more flexibility while forcing companies to support it? most tools use f keys so it ends up just being layered back on, making it pointless until developers decide to add features, but at that point it breaks cross platform compatibility which means they'll likely not bother.
what the hell were they thinking?
>>59600345
>what the hell were they thinking?
They were thinking that they were selling laptops that didn't have to run Windows.

Notice how you said sell. Now reread where they make you f key on a strip.
