Is there any quick way to get the gist of C++? I'm decent at pajeet languages and even dabbed a bit into C++ and pointers years ago, but am still intimidated by this beast. I hate feeling like I have to read some massive amount of text on the language before I can do anything interesting.
So, what's the quick and dirty way of learning it?

You should now be able to pick up C++ without too much difficulty.

just start writing, pretend it's C or some other similar language you may already know.
look up every single thing you do on cppreference.com and see if there's a better way to do it.

Twitter locked me out in 5 minutes after I create a new account. Is this a new trick of the merchant for getting your phone number? Because that's the only option they are giving you to be able to unlock it. I have tried to create a new account many times with different settings:
-10minutemail + vpn = locked out
-10minutemail - no vpn = locked out
-yahoo mail - no vpn = locked out
-start firefox in safe mode - yandex mail- no vpn = locked out
wtf man. is it just me or is this the new trick of twitter? I am getting suspicious of my system. I am running linux mint

Programming should come naturally to you. If it doesn't, just give up. It isn't going to get any easier.
You also need to start early. Like, really early. I was already coding fully working games in Turbo Pascal at 15.
It sucks, but that's just how it is. You can stick with it and end up with shit tier coding skills, if you really want.

What's the best torrent client I can run 24/7 that isn't shit?
Currently running deluge on my raspberry pi and it's extremely slow and the client frequently disconnects and is generally slow as shit. Currently seeding around 350 torrents.
