What do you htink of phone's VR headsets?
Are they just a stupid gimmick?

Or are they actually ok for watching porn?

idk but thats like the only thing i can imagine they would work for
>>
I picked up a Samsung VR Gear 2016 model for £25 on Gumtree, its fucking amazing. Porn, 60fps Youtube videos, tons of good apps.

DLNA cinema pigasus? is great for watching movies.

Yes its a bit gimmicky but for £25 its great
>>
>>59772143
I've used it with a Nexus phone, and with PSVR. The phone one isn't completely a gimmick, but 99% gimmick. Its ability to track using the gyro and compass is the main weak spot, but the resolution would become an issue really quickly if you fixed that.

Should i buy the Asus Strix or the MSI X for my 1080?? i saw a review where the Asus blew up, what about the MSI? is it better or not?

Neither. Don't buy the bloated version of the 1070 (GP104) when you can get a GP102 1080Ti for the same price that a 1080 was just a month ago

>Marius Gripsgård who is known for his work on UBports, the community effort trying to port Ubuntu Touch to as many devices as possible, is determined to keep going and looking to maintain Unity 8. He wrote on Google+ yesterday, "I'm not giving up! I will do my best to keep Ubuntu touch and Unity8 standing on both it's legs! It will be hard. The Ubuntu touch wheel is still spinning, and it has enough momentum to spin until we start spinning it with hopefully with greater force. Expect some news and idea drafts from the Ubports team in the coming weeks."

>Separately, there is now unity8.org as a fork of Ubuntu's Unity 8 code-base. "Following up with Mark Shuttleworth's announcement to abandon unity 8 development, we are planning to fork it and continue working with the project." The Unity8.org domain name is registered to a Ioannis Salatas, a name I wasn't able to find much about associated in the context of Ubuntu, but there is a John Salatas from the same address who has Linux development experience and has been involved with Linux development and is a former GSoC student.

We are back in business:

Sure feels great /g/, enjoy your archaic DE with KDE. I'll continue to enjoy Gnome 3 and the improves they've made.

I don't think anyone actually thinks Unity is good.

Gnome really isn't much better than Unity desu. You need at least 3 or 4 shell extensions to make Gnome usable.

How are Windows installations and Windows PC maintained in an office where you have lots of computers?

I have started a new call center business. We have 10 computers currently and will have to set up 5 more tomorrow. Now I am an expert and fixing computers but I never learned managing computers in an office.

What I should look into? What's the best solution?

Also why the fuck are you posting reddit news on here? Post it on Reddit where it belongs.

Metal is good overall for programming because it lacks melody or lyrics to distract you. You would get the same effect from listening to 8 hours of a woman screaming or just loud static white noise.
