Why do white trash like Apple products?
pic related
>>62253831
Because Apple products are considered as a status symbol. They think if they own an Apple 7 they are automatically higher middle class, cool, etc. They don't care much about the technical aspects of the product, except the camera.

After seeing all these stupid adnauseum shilling posts, I realized maybe my EU pals don't know about this website
http://www.youronlinechoices.eu/
It provides a fast way to disable internet tailoring/tracking on an adprovider basis
More than 160 companies (at least in my location)
this basically sets every ad network cookie to 'fuck you, my EU laws protect me bitch'
let me show you some screencaps

Has anyone fallen for the miniPC/steambox meme? They usually have low specs and shitty parts, but I like the idea of having a PC 1/20th the size of a regular tower

Hi, /g/
Let's say I have a vpn credentials to a building company who won't give me my salary. And suppose I give it to you
What can you do ?
Stay poor
Connect into that

Well I can get you charged with a crime, for one thing.
https://github.com/Valve/fingerprintjs2
whoever created this is a massive piece of shit
Just wait til EFF releases a plugin to block this shit.
I wonder if they'd accept a pull request to "do nothing" if the user has Do Not Track turned on.
>>62252969
Why? They list everything they use for fingerprinting so you can counter it
After a long research I have finally found the best ones.
1.If you're super low on specs use Midori or Polarity, they are very lightweight
2.To visit an unknown/unsafe link use Epic Privacy Browser and use their built in VPN feature, it's great for privacy in general
3.Brave is the future of browsing, still in beta but I use it regularly and have it ready.
4.I use Iridium for anything that requires a chrome-like (chromium based) browser (only then) since it has no ties to google
5.Waterfox (or PaleMoon) for FF-based addons and functionalities
Hmm having five (5) or more browsers seems really convenient, reasonable and totally not a hassle.
>>62253172
Brave as default
IF ever needed by a website/webapp I use Iridium and Watefox respectively
And Epic for the few rare times someone sends you a weird link.
Four (4) in total.
The last is super rare for me, so down to 3 for 99% of overall usage.
Iridium is also rare.
So essentially Brave and Waterfox

Mageia 6 came out July 2017.
www.mageia.org
Why hasn't /g/ told me about this distro. It seems perfect for those coming from Windows and Mac and want a GUI for everything. Plus the documentation is very well written and easy for anyone to understand.
The developers extensively test everything that goes into it ensuring a stable system.

We've reached peak internet. ITT post some gems that have somehow survived through the otherwise steamrolling of this process. Things we obligated to keep alive.
