Allow me to drop a redpill that you may all find hard to swallow…the reality of EVERYTHING BEING MARKETED.
Allow me to explain.
Often on this board, I will see PC users with a masculine homophobic bent denounce Mac as being for “fags” “Apple is gay”…etc. Do you really think manufactures are not aware of this?
Do you feel it is any coincidence that Thinkpads, in the words of another anon are, “ugly as sin”? it is no coincidence. Brothers, in the game of marketing, you are all pawns in the scheme. Whatever ill-fitted ideology you harbor is ripe for the exploitation of profit.
Thinkpads are SUPPOSED TO BE UGLY. Many devices follow the same pattern…they take what is believed to signal a “gay male”, aestheticism, clean lines, minimalism, shiny accents, and they turn it on its head IN THE INVERSE TO CON YOU.
You are delusional if you don’t believe these companies who cater to all you straight, proud, testerosterone fueled “non-fags” out there will respond to like a dog to a fucking whistle. They have it all figured out. They know what elements signal which implications in the context of our society. they have you homophobes figured out to the nth degree and what you dumb fuckers will all believe is the rebellious, individual, and masculine choice. All my kek’s to you brothers….
So we have the boxy, utilitarian, “rugged”, “business class”, “ugly” “Microsoft” and company products that appeal to the bullseye market of men insecure of being seen as concerned with aesthetics, “image conscious”, “gays”, the greatest fear of the proud straight man. No, he does not BUY such “feminine” products, he is much to PRACTICAL, LOGICAL, SERIOUS, and a million other meme adjectives that corporations have stored in their playbook to keep the meme going.
You supply the object that secures men their masculinity, and you reap the profit. End game.

What if I buy based on price points instead of on aesthetics?
I'd buy a Mac if it cost less than a similar spec'd Windows machine.
Unless your "redpill" is "Things being sold are being marketed" to which I'd have to respond, no shit Sherlock.

Can someone tell me if it's possible to partition a drive in the Arch installation process so that I have one for the boot, one for data, one for swap, and then one that will act basically as just an external storage device that Windows will be able to read? I don't want 95% of my 1tb drive going to waste because I really need that extra space, and I would like to be able to use it in Windows as well. I remember having this exact setup when I installed BusenLabs 6 or so months ago but I only had two partitions, one for the OS and the rest was exfat I think.

Yeah, it's usable. You can do some fun stuff with snapshotting, if you're interested in using it.

Unless you care about snapshotting your filesystem or have storage that's measured in Petabytes, it's not really a big deal.

If you can't into boolean logic, then you ain't trying hard enough. Else, you're dumb, dummy.
>>
what don't you understand?
>>
>>59819760

I learned this shit when I was 17. You only need to grasp the basics first: AND, OR, NOT, NAND, NOR, XNOR, XOR

Then you dive into boolean algebra. You learn the theorems, practice them for some time and you will eventually learn boolean logic

That's crucial, though. You can't learn programming without learning boolean logic.

How do you optimize a program for AMD processors?
I know for Intel they just compile it using the Intel Compiler, but what about AMD?
9 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>59819356
You don't.
>>
GCC can target both AMD and Intel architectures with varying levels of optimization
>>
AMD contributes to GCC and LLVM and probably cooperates with Microsoft on their compiler.

Define high profile? If you mean law enforcement CSI type stuff, drop enough acid to be on a permanent trip, and get yourself into a home where they'll stick you infront of a tv playing crappy cable for the rest of your life. That's the only way you will experience it.

What am I doing wrong?

I want my website to display pages without changing the initial homepage. SO that way I can edit/add single html or xml files without needing to change the home page itself. I have a php script that should achieve this.

This is the script for the GET function but it doesn't seem to load anything on the page not even an error when I request it.

Where am I going wrong?

is it worth it adding USB-C to PCs that don't have it?
17 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
Do you have something you wanna plug into your PC that requires USB-C? If so, yes.

If not, no, you stupid nigger.
>>
>>59818770
what about switching shit over to USB-C? what's worth moving over for extra speed and other advantages? thats what I wanted to know.
>>
>>59818803
There won't be any speed advantages unless the controller built into the device bus is faster.

The only advantage is that you won't look like a retard fiddling around wondering if you're plugging it in the right way this time. Though there are power advantages in USB C. USB C can carry display port. It can also do thunderbolt 2.0.

But for everyday items? The only advantage I can think of the the reversible connector, and more insertions. And I guess the fact that its a little smaller than USB-A

>>59818770
This post sums it up nicely. USB-C is for USB-C devices. It can't be clearer than that.
