I've seen figures for the Mac Plus range from $20-200. How much is a Macintosh Plus worth that includes
-Macintosh Plus
-Hard Drive w/ OS Installed
-Keyboard
-Mouse
-Original manuals and Install disks
Any input appreciated
>>59820670
Just check eBay and make an educated guess based on the condition of the Mac and its accessories.
Yours seems pretty complete so it's probably worth a fair bit more than the usual barebones listing.
>>59820670
Like with anything else old, there is no set value, it varies from buyer to buyer and place to place.
I paid $15 for my pretty much untarnished Plus with a keyboard, mouse, an HD20 with 6.0.8 and a ton of applications, and a carrying bag. If I came across one at my shop I'd probably slap $50-$60 on a similar example. On eBay I could probably get $150 out of it if I tried hard enough, or maybe $50. There is no fixed, consistent demand for these kinds of systems and they appeal mostly to a niche market of often young, casual collectors who want it for nothing just as I won't hesitate to admit I do.
H-How's my fizzbuzz guys? Am I ready to finally get a job?public static void main(String[] args) {
for (int i = 1; i <= 50; i++) {
if (i % 3 == 0 && i % 5 == 0) {
System.out.println("FizzBuzz");
} else if (i % 3 == 0) {
System.out.println("Fizz");
} else if (i % 5 == 0) {
System.out.println("Buzz");
} else {
System.out.println(i);
}
}
}
}

you didn't get tricked, Arch is for script kiddies, and it sounds like you aren't a script kiddie anymore

STFU. MAGA.
I tried Manjaro w/ the default xfce and I think it's a lovely OS.
It's user friendly, bleeding edge, and nice, but Pacman can suck my nuts.
Can u give tell me which debian-based OS is as nice as manjaro?
>>59819602
none i use KDE ITS AMAZING. just pacman is shit tbh
Whats up with pacman? Most people who really know what they're doing actually admit that its the best package manager around.

good point, I'm worried some packages are not in pacman, IE ungoogled chromium

Yeah but 10 years from now there will be some job opportunities. Just keep it on your resume for the next decade until Rust really takes off, anon

Why does Windows always become so slow? Now from the moment I turn on the computer for the next 10 minutes after I log in (sometimes even longer than that), the hard drive will constantly stay at 100% and everything is slow as crux. After logging in (which in itself takes almost as long as the bootup process to reach the desktop), the fan will start to whir up even if I don't press a single key for the next 10 minutes. It's at the point where I'm better off going to the kitchen to brew a cup or three of tea. Programs now take ages to load.
Is it even possible to make this Windows install faster or will I have to reinstall?
GNU/Linux doesnt have this problem
>>59819291
Brother, I've been asking this very same question for 15 fucking years. I'm mostly using Linux now, but it was the very first thing I noticed after installing it. I'd be afraid to use an ssd with windows these days.

Honestly, I hate Applefags moreso than I do niggers.
99% of nigras I've met have actually been very polite and courteous, regardless of whether they look 40 and dress like 12 year olds.
On the other hand, 99% of macfags are total insufferable cunts that never shut the fuck up about their shitty fruit religion.

Hey /g/uys, one question for all of you.
Is BlackBerry officially dead?
>>59819223
BlackBerry is a software company now, new phones are just TCL or something like that with BlackBerry branding. They've been dead to me since the switch to Android, but now they pretty much are dead.

27 years in development and still no stable release. What went wrong with GNU/HURD?
>>59819137
There's been pickup in GNU/Hurd interest lately since microkernels are popping up everywhere like QNX and L4e. Hurd definitely works on top of Debian and active development is still going on there.
History claims Stallman at the time went with the Mach microkernel because the BSD kernel was too early a release and needed a lot of work, so they focused on Mach instead. They also wanted a new kernel that wasn't monolithic, meaning you can restart misbehaving drivers like you would any app, and it would be impossible for any userland program to crash the OS.
It was too early for bringing kernels into the modern era with hardware-enforced process separation, and userland sandboxes and at the time monolithic kernels were 'good enough' so people went with them instead though lately all that's been changing, esp with so-called advanced operating systems courses being the norm in schools these days and students churning out all kinds of experimental OSs, many of them like GNU/Hurd with radically different internals.
If anybody wants to screw around with Hurd it runs no problem in a Debian VM and on GuixSD
>>59819137
Linux, mach, etc.
If they had adapted it off bsd the world would be massively different.
Richard Stallman objectively hurt the world with GNU, since now microkernels are only looked at as pet projects, not as the godsend and future of tech that they are. Monolithic kernels have just about 0 advantages over microkernels.
Goddamn, I had no idea about the shit stallman did...
Why aren't drone mounted lasers used in terrorist attacks? You could buy the parts for $200, then use it to maim random people on the street. It seems much easier than suicide bombers, all they need to do is have an operative receive a package and assemble it, then someone else can control it.

>>59819045
For the same reason that terrorists don't do other smart things (blow up infrastructure like bridges, instead of nightclubs) -- they really just want to kill people.
It's mostly because of the religion... to a True Muslim, life in the West is like being in a zombie movie or survival game. The Westerners are the zombies, and you want to kill as many as possible with anything available. Axes, guns, trucks, etc.
Hope this helps, anon.

Opera.
It's no more of a botnet than Firefox, comes with a free VPN, easy to use and customizable speed dial.
Or if you are that scared of botnets just use Palemoon and enjoy your browser crashing randomly. Unchromium and that shit is a shilled joke, ignore it.
Firefox because foxes are cute :3
Free VPN seems sketchy.

A dumb made a thread asking for a tablet to watch/read manga/comics. Is there any at the price range of 150~250 that would be good/ok to draw on too? I tried that weird samsung pen and it's ok for what it does. I'd use it as an aditional monitor sometimes and then draw on it or maybe with any good app.
Top or bottom, /g/? Which do you prefer?
I'm relatively amateur and used to prefer the top one, but the longer my code gets the more I like the bottom one
Bottom - unless you're retarded.

}
