>buy 300 bongpound monitor
>small areas with a blueish tinge
could I get this replaced or is it not classed as malfunctional?
Is it unreasonable to ask for a replaacement?
>>59844299
>not classed as malfunctional
Yep. Good monitors for production and art are way more expensive.
>>59844336
It's at least a 3 cm* 3cm area. The tinge is light, but noticeable. You sure this isn't classed as faulty.
Keep buying Vizio, Qnix, Catleap, Crossover, X-Star, Topsync and other factory reject panel Korean trash brands, you cheap fuck.
And spend a minute of your time to admire the fact that AMD has brought us back the 1000$ PC.
When I was a kid I remember that a price of a solid modern PC capable of undertaking modern tasks was around 1000$. It remained so for several generations of PCs.
Then it all went sideways and last year we were celebrating 800$ CHEAP GPUs.
Well now it's back, officially, you can get yourself an entire solid gaming PC for a thousand bucks.
And even the Jews are cutting prices because of this.
sucks to be poooor
intel/nvidia is the best.
>>59844189
Buying a computer has always been progressively better price/performance even back to 2000, and you could always buy a reasonable PC for $800-$1000.

>Liquid nitrogen goes in top.
>Nitrogen gas goes out top.
Do overclockers not understand the problems with this? The nitrogen gas almost immediately acts as insulation between the liquid and the processor.
Why doesn't anyone create a piping system similar to water cooling that actually allows proper LN flow?
>>59844146
typically they don't run those systems long enough for it to matter
people who want really cold chips constantly run a compressed gas coolant cycle, like a refridgerator
>>59844146
its still cold you know, and it bubbles off immediatly
>>59844146
>he nitrogen gas almost immediately acts as insulation between the liquid and the processor.
That's the point. There's this thing called the coldclock bug. Too cold the chip stops working.
Ryzen doesn't have this problem.
So the current world record for that chip type (currently held by ryzen) At 5.2Ghz may get broken even more with a better system of Ln2 cooling.
I am currently working on a science project that needs the minimal computational load maximum power point tracking (MPPT) method possible. Could you guys help me with that?
The best one I found was a mix of PI controller + P&O for solar panels in an article of 2011, so I imagine that there is something better out there already.

>>59844115
not really my field, but could look at arduino and arduino nano?
>>59844115
Let me get this straight? You want to meassure current and voltage and multiply the two?
>>59844218
Maybe, I didn't think about looking there. I will take a look. Thanks for the suggestion.
>>59844339
To get the most power out of a solar panel you will want to have operate it on the right voltage level (Power = Voltage x Current). The MPPT methods are techniques to find this voltage level.
Pic is the method I found with best results.

Why are Lincucks so autistic? If they want more people to use an open source operating system, why do they make it so difficult?
there's nothing stopping you from adding the non-free repo to install your proprietary shitware drivers
>>59843903
Obviously. And why did you make this thread OP? You could've easily figured that out on your own. And if you're not running a server, why bother with Debian?

Let's talk about AM4 mainboards,
What's the issue here?
Why don't the manufactures release more boards, especially in µATX and MiniITX format?
And what's up with the non existing X370 platform on smaller form factor?
Quality VRMs are also a deciding factor whether your system will be efficient or not.
All I see on B350 boards are shitty VRMs and Mosfets and sparely used, 4+3 is the most you get on small form factor mainboards.
This is a severe issue, atleast for me.
I want a quality mainboard, now.

officially, AMD's SFF performance chipset is designated as X300. However, some manufacturers are rolling out X370 SFF boards, likely after some initial period AMD set
>Why does a 2 month old platform not have as rich an ecosystem as a 5 year old platform?
>>59843596
Because they're having a hell of a time making decent BIOS.
They were getting good BIOS on the last microcode, but then the new microcode undid so much they were working on as workarounds for the last microcode to improve performance.
It doesn't look like things will really settle with BIOS until late May.
Board manufacturers don't want to have to support 20 different boards each with various BIOS updates and testing and validation on them all.
Guys, i don't know which one to choose.
