What's better for the same price for casual sky watching? Binoculars or telescope?
telescope
1 good hole >2 avarage holes
>>59862493
depends on a.) what that price is and b.) what you want to be looking at.
>>59862493
for casual star gazing, go with binoculars. they are more portable and can also be used for bird watching, nature watching in general
What do you use to read news, reviews, depending either on hardware/software/security?
How to stay in the know?

I don't. If God wanted me to know what was happening outside my house then he would have made me omniscient.
Canonical is dying.

Huge cuts plus idiot is back at the helm == doom and gloom for Ubuntu.
What distro do we now switch to?
Ubuntu was at its best when it was a smaller team and Mark was in charge.
It was only in 2010 when he let some vagina start ruling the place that unity, mir, etc turned to crap and everything went downhill year after year.
Ubuntu is about to become greater than ever, again.
>Canonical is dying.
It isn't. It's just getting rid of unprofitable desktop shit.

Video sharing is for retarded queers. Kill yourself.
What is your opinion on software theft?
It's very bad.
Software piracy is fine though

Where on earth could I find spare cover parts for a Nokia N92?
It's a rare vintage phone. I bought one online from a guy who swore it was in mint condition. What do you know, the cover around the screen is cracked. This decreases the value greatly but apparently I'm not getting the money back and ditching the phone to an idiot like me was the plan.
My only chance is to find a spare part but they seem to be scarce as fuck.
Is there any vintage Nokia community out there?
Pic is not the phone in question.
>>59861853
If you bought it on ebay, file a complaint. Ebay is 100% biased towards purchasers, you can fuck him easily.
>>59862002
>a crack that wasn't mentioned in the sale
You can really fuck the seller with this.
>>59862335
>>59862002
you've got the answer, now fuck him over.
I am going to build my first PC. I have 500$ budget, can go over, but only if this gives major benefits. Do you have any suggestions or great builds that would work? New to this, and I know there are many articles on the web, but many of them are from 2016. Thanks

it's a great cpu for a workstation. the thing costs like $400, motherboard $200 and the 32gb of ddr4 goes for about $200.
the only people who hate it are ones who program on their 7 year old memepads. literally the best editor out there.

Hey /g/, I was looking for your input on which Bachelors degree I should go for.
The university closest to me offers both a Bachelors of Computer Science and a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science.
The next closest college offers a Bachelors of Applied Science in both Information Systems and Technology, and one in Cyber Security.
The degree that I'm working for right now is an AAS in Network Design and Administration, and because it's an AAS I don't think it would necessarily transfer very easily into the University. If I decided to do the BAS program, I'd automatically be in Junior standing.
Anyways which do you think employers would care more about the BS, or the BAS? The type of field that I'm most interested in as far as IT goes is Networking. As far as certs go right now, I have my A+ and CCENT. Working on my CCNA R&S currently.
I've also looked at WGU as well, just trying to get some input.
> The university closest to me offers both a Bachelors of Computer Science and a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science.
WHAT?
>>59861650
an AAS is for immediate transfer into the market, some credits might count but it is doubtful all will. Also, what >>59861676
said, WHAT?
>>59861676
Yeah. Confused me too.
