This is net neutrality. This is what happens when you let the government regulate the internet.
>>59879872
Damn, even in Cuba they have better connection.
>>59879872
>Reading
Welp, maybe that's why it's so slow. They rather have you read books than browse 4chan. Just suck it up.
>>59879872
And yet there was minimal competition even before net neutrality. Comcast has a complete monopoly on vast swaths of the US. Besides, those rules have been relaxed and never fully went into effect in the first place.
ITT: Ask someone working IT in the car/vehicle industry anything
>>59879642
I worked in manufacturing car parts for half a year before going to uni (not related to anything automotive)
what kind of work do you do?
Is it true using a bunch of capacitors instead of a regular car battery will fuck up your alternator in some way?
What do they cheap out on
Hello

Just got this image from a source who's a software developer at Apple. Keeping the source anonymous though
The source is involved with the development for this year's iPhone, which it's planned to called iPhone Edition
>>59879188
>Just got this image from a source who's a software developer at Apple
Why are you lying anon? This was already posted before from a shitty site no one care about, now fuck off
*which it's planned to be called iPhone Edition
Sorry for the typos lol
I think this is fake because the screen ratio is like the iPhone 5
Hey /g/, we just had a vote over on /pol/ and decided that the best course of action in the short-term is to ban all forms of encryption since most of the world is on the brink of war. Open and free communication would be safer for everyone and would reduce the number of terrorist attacks.
Our questions for /g/ are:
1. How long would it take to decrypt everything and ban encryption assuming that all encryption keys would have to be divulged under threat of fines or jail?
2. After we break all of the current encryption methods, how long would it take to develop new forms of encryption that could then remain a secret?
3. Should private companies even be allowed to encrypt data or should it only be done by the government?
Thanks /g/

My ex's kids got to my hard drive, and managed to break and bend some of the pins. Is there anything I can do at all to either fix it or atleast pull all the content off it? My whole life is on it and I'll be devastated if everything is lost.
install gentoo
>ex's kids
>not a single backup
learn how to backup you stuff next time e.g. in a secound drive or a cloud service
i think your only choice is a professional repair service
Has anyone used any of the following programs? What were your impressions? Is there any point in using them?
https://crypto.cat/
https://riot.im/
https://coy.im/
https://ricochet.im/
>>59878744
I know cryptocat had some gaping security holes in it but I think the dev rewrote the app, not sure how secure it is now.
I've heard riot is a pretty good oss alternative to slack. Never heard of or used the other two.
>>59878744
Ricochet seems like a cool idea, I might try it out.
Does no one here have any opinions on things unless it's an Apple/Android or Intel/AMD bait thread?
