honestly, i think women--or people behaving in the "woman" gender role--are better suited to live in and build a modern society. having a bunch of men around is useful if you don't have mechanization, but for a world that requires getting along with others and functioning as a community, women are more optimal. i think, also, that women tend to be better at "skill" work, like needlepoint, or programming computers. they live longer too, and have more functional years.
