Alright /g/, be honest this time, which build do you think will perform better? ;^)
>>59960090
Amd cant run emulators so its trash
>>59960090
i5 is already hitting 100% CPU usage in most games and NVidia still gets teh suck in Vulkan and DX12 so I'd say AMD will be a good contender for future builds.
>>59960117
There's not a single emulator that requires MUH CLOCKS to run at full speed anymore, except CEmu, and it's only because it's a fucking alpha quality build.
Why is Google terrible at naming their products?
>>59960077
No filter here but most of their employees are either dude Bros or pseudo nerds with literally no imagination and can't make an innovative or appealing product except forcing it down people's throats until they start skull fucking them
Example: Someone in my university had a dad that was a total Chad. He's a total pseudo need/dweeb, and no where like his father. Said father went to a frat and had a frat bro. This kid just asked his dad to hook him a job at Google on the east coast for UX, so he called his dad called his old frat friend since friend works in Google SV. Next thing you know, the little shit got the job without an interview
His portfolio is pretty mediocre so it goes to show you what kind of people they have. Unless it's some hot shit like AI, which they can't fuck up on, then they hire big shot brainy folks
>>59960208
Well, this is shit.
Google is notoriously bad at three (3) things:
1.) Naming their products
2.) Keeping them alive for more than 3 years
3.) Giving people exactly what they want in a product, i.e. Allo
This thread is about the appreciation of horological tech and watches.

Do people on /g/ use malwarebytes still? I always had it and love it, and my step father gets viruses all the time and was gonna put a premium version on his PC, but since torrenting has pretty much died, im not sure I can find a keygen to give me a code for premium. Is there one I dont know about?

>What the RX 580 does prove, beyond any shadow of a doubt, is that the GCN architecture in its various incarnations from 1.0 – 1.4 is tapped out. Polaris got a kick from a new process node and better clock scaling, but AMD is slamming into the same problem they had with GCN at 28nm: This GPU is not designed to hit high clock speeds, and it can’t do so without blowing out the power consumption improvements that the RX 480 delivered almost a year ago.

Aaaaaand that's fucking why they are making GCN 2.0.
Is React the future of web and mobile development, or is just a cuckerburg jew fad?
I consider myself lucky not knowing anything about "React" apart from the name.
>>59959713
lol, fag.
out of all the js frameshits react is the one that makes sense.
also you can do mobile apps with it

Can't wait for my s8+ to arrive Thursday!
Can't wait to see him reading the box blurb with all the specs on it, failing to form a coherent opinion on the device and generally being a complete shill.
thank you for letting me know about the latest you tube telephone review--and may i just add, that your use of racial slurs is hilarious :~) really gave the post that "4chan spice". glad to have you here, on /g/, the board where you belong

I wonder if you're a developer (or just an adult). Any laptop these days will do most of my work, I use a t420 hooked up to an external screen, I also have a cheap chinese laptop with a full hd screen (screen real estate is one of the few things that makes a difference in most IDEs). When benchmarking against the $3K ultrabook my work uses as their SOE I found there wasn't much difference in performance.
Chucking my .vimrc and .bashrc in source control made things far easier for moving amongst environments.
Kind of. I give a shit about technology but am too poor to be part of anything modern. I'm about 10 years behind.
I'm a stickler for since things like bad font rendering but yeah I don't do the whole "create 1000 vim hotkeys to write HTML". Maybe I like things simple or I'm just lazy
Please state the qualities that set you apart from the others in your profession.

There's decent Mac software for everything EXCEPT music players, unless you're fine with iTunes. Swinsian is kinda okay.
>>59959359
i think it's time for you to write your own music player
