funnily enough, that will put it just above the 580 in most games, just like how the regular 1060 was faster than the 480.

Tfw my brand new 1080ti is heavily bottlenecked by my 4790k even at 4.7ghz. I can't even get over 100 flps on my 144hz 1080p monitor. I at least expected that much. Thinking of selling the gear and going back to my old hardware, as no matter what I do the new stuff performs worse.

Hey /g/, I know you aren't my personal tech support however...
I'm in some dire need of understanding and support.
See, I was on a vacation for a few months and when I came home, my computer started acting very slow. Mind you, I own a very high end rig, so this is pretty odd for it to stutter in this way.
I plugged in my External HDD to load up some files, but instead of reading it as a Removable Drive, it says it's a Local Disk. What's wierder is if I load websites like Tom's Hardware, it crashes my process. Same with Steam; download a game - it crashes.
I can't seem to access the Disk Management like others have suggested online, and I don't know if it's the computer or just the External HDD. What I'd also love to know is what even caused for this but one step at a time, right?
