/g/, why is everyone so JavaScript crazy? I think it's kind of a shit language... or am I just getting old?
>>59995016
You're kinda getting old. Programmer time is expensive, compute time is cheap, where it used to be the complete opposite. This leads to people writing things in shit like Electron which is stupid inefficient but relatively easy to write for.
No you're right every UX prick wants to cobble some garbage together in whatever meme language they feel like using

They're jews.

i have to say, you have the life mate.

What's your point? You want more SOMA?

That living the tech life is pretty shit. All I do is stare at displays and work on devices, probably 90% of you guys do the same.
Can someone recommend a good keylogger?
I've been looking for some free ones but they're all from 10 years ago, or have comments of people saying they got malware.

There is a white pixel on the display, it won't power off holding the power button for nearly 5 minutes. Literally talking to a fucking pajeet right now. Thanks Samshit.

My landlord just installed this above the stoop of our apartment building. I'm assuming it's a camera, but looking for some feedback if anyone gives a shit.

It is. I don't know, but I would assume it can rotate.

it's a laser turret, not a camera

How do you feel about Dell Canvas?

Not a big fan of Dell.
This was last Tuesday:
I ordered a dell 7000 inspiron on 4-15-17 over the phone. Sales guy said it came with PCIe SSD drive. I asked him three times to make sure. He confirmed three times. After I paid 860.18 on my credit card, i checked the specs on the recite. The recite said SSD Hard Drive, but no PCIe. I then called sales back up and talked to same rep. He said he would double check. Put me on hold for 10 minutes and came back and said it was a PCIe drive. He then said that he would confirm with another email that it was a PCIe drive. I never got the email.
I called today, Tuesday the 18th, to ask another tech support guy about my computer hard drive because i suspicious. He said he could not confirm that it was a PCIe SSD drive, so i cancelled the order in a second call after I thought about this string of bullshit I was receiving.
I then got on live chat on dell.com and tried to order the same computer with a PCIe drive. The new salesman said he was able to do that. I asked for a written record of the order to be emailed to me, but he refused and then told me that inspirion 7000 laptops do not come with a PCIe SSD drive anymore.
I copied all conversations and all emails.

Fuck that bullshit. That Canvas thing also better be 4K at the least for a display that large.

Master Foo and Nubi one day decided to meditate by a stream in a pine forest. While on the way they passed the corporate offices of Mango Inc. Outside the facade of the building was a follower of the way of the fruit.
The man was hastily eating a bowl of rice while leaning on a post. Balanced on a nearby ledge was a tablet of stone inscripted with numbers and calculations.
Nubi wondered what the man was doing and shared his curiousity with his teacher. The Master responded "Why don't you ask him, my student?" The pair approached the man carefully as to not startle him and greeted him with eager eyes.
Nubi spoke up, "Good afternoon sir, what are you doing eating outside with this stone tablet?"
"Why, I am calculating figures for my employer, this is the reference and I have learned to memorize the simple output. My boss has given me a promotion because this allows me to continue to work while I take my meal, increasing our output greatly."
The Master asked and recieved permission to copy the stone tablet with pen onto parchment. The pair then continued into the forest and meditated.
It was the next day when they passed the man outside again on their way home. Master Foo paused close to the man and opened his satchel and pulled out a blank parchment. He scribbled three lines of numbers and algorithms.
He handed it to the man and continued on his way.

Well GNU/Linux is a programmers OS so the "Program it yourself" response is fairly reasonable. Considering GNU/Linux is not really meant for the general public.
Soo, /g/
Whats the avarage lifespan of a intel i5 2° gen?
Mine is starting to overheat even with the most simple games.
>>59994400
Replace thermal paste, clean the fans and heatsink. CPUs, like RAM, can easily last for 10-20 years if you do not let them overheat.
>>59994414
Listen to this guy. Also what cooling solution are you using?
>>59994400
>>59994510
Just the included CPU fan + 1 more in the back of the chasis.
Changed and cleaned the fan like 1 month ago, and still happening.
Google is actually wasting their potential. Really incompetent company if you think about it
>>59994268
really makes you think...
Not really. They already earn money.
Now their focus is on expanding into real life, with voice and image recognition, google tanslate, cars and maps. So their ads can soon drive you to a nearby mcdonalds when you pass one with your car.
And making themselves irreplaceable by offering many free services. Microsoft and Apple try lock people in by making their software and hardware incompatible with other stuff. Google does it by making everything free.

I just changed over from iPhone to Galaxy S8 after 10 years. Is there a 4chan app as good as Fortune was?

I'm using an android tablet and I can't find a decent converter out there. I'm in the U.S and it's not working in my jurisdiction. Any ones you recommend or anyway pass it?
>>59994217
just buy the cd or find a torrent
alternatively if you're that desperate for a shitty 128kbps mp3 then just just clipconverter.cc
youtube-dl --extract-audio --audio-format mp3 <video URL>
>>59994236
Will that work on android?
Windows will prevent you from taking a screenshot if you have a DRM-enabled document open, even if minimized.
I doubt it stops third party software though
Stop trying to subvert privacy, retard
>>59994064
It is the same if you try and copy and paste from a document that could potentially contain sensitive information.
And you forgot to mention that this only happens if you run a 3rd party program. Win10 has a similar feature but it is nowhere near the maturity of other offerings.
>Go into 11 year old sisters room to get her malware bullshit off her computer
>She's using chromium
What kind of oxymoron is this /g/? Is this the next generation? The sort of people that use chronium but don't even know how to avoid simple malware bullshit?
Does anyone else know if schools are teaching kids to use chromium? This is bizarre to me.
maybe she saw big bro using it and wanted to be smart and cool too
