i've been hearing about this croupton thing that allows you to run chromeos along with linux, but thats a waste of space.. i want linux alone!

You could get the Z580CA, which has double the RAM and storage, plus support for a powered stylus (sold separately). It costs a bit more, though.
Or you could get the "people's tablet" - Nvidia Shield K1 as per the other posts. Shield is not a meme, it is an unbeatable value device with great screen, GREAT speakers for a tablet, fast graphics, negligible bloatware, excellent support from NVidia (running Android 7.0) etc for well under $200

I want to try switchong to Arch Linux but I still need windows for my non Linux supported apps. The creator's update is absolutely shit. Is it easy to set up usb passthrough so I can allow a VM Windows to use my graphics card while running Linux as my primary OS?
