Is displayport a meme?
If not, what are the advantages other than 4k support (which at the current moment is a meme too)
>>60036926
HDMI is the meme.
>I'm poor so its a meme
>>60036926
4k isn't a meme, this isn't 3-4 years ago. DisplayPort is basically a superior DVI. The next revisions for HDMI and DP both look promising, but DP is not a meme.

God Tier: Front of the phone
Wake the phone and have it unlock using one finger. Able to unlock it while it's laying on a desk or in a dock without picking it up.
Decent Tier: Side of the phone
Wake and unlock with one finger. Still able to unlock without picking phone up, but not as easily.
Shit Tier: Back of the phone
Use one finger to wake the phone and another to unlock (some have the back sensor wake the phone as well to negate this issue). Must pick up the device to unlock it. Extremely inconvenient in certain situations and just annoying in most others.

Is eurorack /g/? Do you guys have modulars? Pic related is the current version of my planned eurorack setup.
>>60035893
I don't modular because it's really inefficient for the time. I just use cv between stuff for mostly envelope shaping. Been looking at getting a mother32 and system500 just to have something available though, plus they would fit pretty well into everything cv capable already. I still think big modulars are a meme though.
>>60036182
What is a big modular for you? 9U and upwards?
>>60036207
Eh, difficult to say there's a specific size. I would put it down to functionality. There's some modules that seem generally useful by themselves, like I'd be fine with a bunch of extra processing tools such as the Intellijel Rainmaker or other "unique" effects units that have modular inputs. Not totally sold on getting things like a half dozen filters. basic vco units, simple routing modules, or sequencers though. It would definitely make things more accessible to use, but not knowing if I'll get something I like out of an afternoon can be both frustrating and scary at times. I have a decent selection of outboard gear already, so I'm probably biased.

>have systemwide adblock via AdAway
>site wants you to turn off adblock to access content
>no way to enable them without editing host files and restarting system
I know people recommend to stay away from sites that ask you to disable adblock, but I wanted to download a few psp roms and this site hat very fast download speeds up to 20mb/s compared to the 1-2mb/s other rom sites offer.
Fuck this shit.
Hang on, I thought a host file level adblock was undetectable. Really?
if it's one of those adfly type sites then just find a whitelist

YYYY/MM/DD hh:mm:ss is the only logical notation because each following unit is smaller the previous one.
The other equivalently logical notation could be ss:mm:hh DD/MM/YYYY but absolutely nobody uses it.
Is it historical reasons?
>nobody uses DD/MM/YYYY
what? that's the second most common after MM/DD/YYYY
>>60035686
I saidss:mm:hh DD/MM/YYYY
In order for that to be logical you should change your time notation too.

I live in Canada, we use three date systems, measure liquids in liters and weight in pounds, grams, and metric tonnes. We measure distance in kilometers and height in feet.
