there's hundreds of pajeets first project sparse voxel engines that can do infinite detail, the catch is that it takes a lot of space, animating is computationally costly
>>
>>60114464
It's not a voxel engine. It's a point cloud engine. You can't render all points at once.
>>60114444
At least they got the hint that you can't use it for anything else than geospatial applications.

For those with gaming laptops, how has your experience been? I've been thinking of buying a Dell i7567. It's $999 CAD (around $799 USD). It looks like a good deal but I've heard mixed things about laptops.

gaming laptops will leave you and your partner disappointed
>>
They're fine for most things. Biggest downside is limited SSD/HDD space if you want to use it as a primary device, and the lack of ports.

My gf has one of these meme machines. The plus side of if is that it generates so much heat and air circulation you don't need a space heater anymore.

So, anon, I'm giving you another chance to explain why you STILL have an i5 or even an i7 when Ryzen is clearly better.

You have 10 seconds.

If u didn't know AMD was bailed out by the U.S government in the past few years. Ryzen is the result of that funding so ryzen is obviously a tool to spy on the people of the world. If u think that AMD is better now than you are obviously a niave idiot . In short intel is better

yes goy, I'm sure jewtel has my best interests in mind

>AMD was bailed out by the U.S government
More like AMD was paid large amounts of money to make backdoors in hardware that existed in Intel but not AMD

>black guy killed himself because people at uber were bullying him

>Mrs Thomas says her husband, a self-taught engineer, started coming home, complaining about how his supervisors were constantly calling his skills into question.
>'He would say, "I feel stupid, they’re all laughing at me," and yet this was a guy who was as hardworking, driven and focused as there ever was.
>'He only had one year of college, but if there was a coding language he didn’t know, he’d study hard and three months later get certificates saying he knew them.

>a self-taught engineer
>they’re all laughing at me
>but if there was a coding language he didn’t know, he’d study hard and three months later get certificates saying he knew them (codecademy certificate?)

Was this guy an affirmative action hire that got bullied to death?

How the fuck did he get job offers from Apple/Uber if he's such a noob..

Is Intel losing it?

Were corporate IT purchasers buying these $2000+ MP-enabled processors ever confused about the E5/E7 branding?

When crack and meth heads shoot, snort, and smoke a fuck load of that shit they start peeping out the windows thinking the cat in bushes is conspiring with the DEA to get them arrested. In this case it's the CIA tryin to take him down.

Still not worth it.

I'll repeat what I said in the last thread.

PC sales are down 7%, in the same quarter (January 3rd) Intel released Kabylake Desktop processors.

Ryzen 7 has only released in the last month of Q1 and doesn't even have 28 days of sales in the quarter.
I'll leave it up to you if you think those 7% are barely a month of Ryzen 7 sales or not, Ryzen 5 is not included in this quarter.
>>
>>60113805
lol no. It's worse.
Desktop sales were up in Q1 for the first time in many, many years.
INTEL sales were down 7%.

When is Intel's CEO getting replaced?
How many millions in severance is he getting to help run the company into the ground?

Yea, it seems to have fallen behind. I'm running a bunch of malware/adware tools at the moment cause chrome is randomly opening tabs to ads. Caught it trying to install compatibility software for my Samsung Note 5.
