/g/ maybe you could tell me what is going on here.

About two days ago 4chan started looking like this on my phone. I have no idea why, before there was only the unobtrusive banner ad, but now there is all this shit.

I only use my phone for google, YouTube, 4chan, email, and extremely normie apps like Netflix and Amazon.

Never before have I seen this crap and I want to know why it's coming up and if anyone else is in the same boat. And of course what I can do about it.

There is any way to keep using online XP in safe ways?

I have a 512mb ram machine I want to use as a chink cartoon/lurking/VN/2D games machine and loonix can't fill 2/4 of that tasks and 512 is too low for win 7

The computer itself is one of those pre c2d dual core with some gts gpu so it CAN play 1080p video just fine

Not my set-up, but I'll try to keep this thread /g/ related

I bought into PC gaming about a year back when I found out how limited consoles were in their computing power. Stuff like FPS in AI intensive situations, draw distance on RPGs, etc, stuff that they're just not built to handle. So I just started my trip into the PC building world.

But when I did there was so much stuff to consider, cases and motherboards and monitors and peripherals and etc etc etc. It's a huge headache. And when I got done building my set-up, I realized I wasn't very much in love with it because it wasn't very attractive (Cooler Master MasterCase Pro 5). It was ugly and the side panel is cheeky and it's just not that nice.

But this shit, this shit right here, this shit right HERE, is what I was really after. The stoic aesthetic, the nice proportions, that backlight, it's all perfect. It's the exact direction that I want to push my build towards.

So, with all of that being said I'd like some recommendations on subtle, aesthetically pleasing hardware and peripherals. Not super minimalist, but effective and high quality. Maybe some other people will find stuff that they like in this thread too.

Hey /g/, got this vegetable of a computer right here.. Its standard stuff, got it back when I was 16, only had to pay $300 to break even with my mom, got a comouter that could run Minecraft.. I was happy at the time, especially since I haven't had a decent paying job for a while, and most of what I did make went to school, insurance, or general payments.

But now this thing, after four years, is fucked, my PSU snapped and fucked up my mobo(installed new PSU and it only whistles for a split second so I know its not just in need of a PSU upgrade).

Any ideas what the problem might be? Any further information necessary?

How comfy are you sitting right now /g/? trying to get a nice looking rice going for my new T470. Got it to dip my toes into coding and such, I personally love the thing even if the island keyboard is a bit triggering at times. I tried making a thread yesterday about Desktop Environments and why choose one over another if you customize them to look the same, and what the differences between linux versions is. I didn't get the answers to all my questions but from my understanding the reason people dont like ubuntu are
