Is it possible to be aa programmer when you suck at math?
20 + 7 = 27
>>60205320
It's not possible to be a b tier programmer if you are bad at math.
>>60205320
is it possible? yes, but you would be a rather limited one, like you know, many of the "web artisans" I know, doesnt know shit about linear algebra and have limited knowledge of basic logic.
At least have the balls to learn logic so you can do basic branching without screwing it up.
Why don't keyboards exist that you can just pop the top face off of and blow all the dust and shit out of it?
Zboard? Steelseries Shift?

when you browse the laptop or pc of a female, what are some of the things you find? is there difference between female and male users?
girls usually have cute desktops

Nothing is updated.

Sup /g/, I just wanted to ask if there's a way to clone ones android phone?
>Have s7 edge
>Ooh update to nougat?
>Updates
>Phone starts acting shitty
>Gets self bricked overnight and bootloops
Never mind waiting 2 months for them to send me a new one. So I wanted to ask if there are any precautions I can take?
>Pic related this happened when trying to factory reset it before sending it back.
GIVE IT BACK MALCOLM

Fuck you I'm no nigger. I'm an honest white man you knob gobbling cum connoisseur.
>>60205082
I asked the same question a few months ago (got a Galaxy Tab S for Christmas and wanted to make a clean image of it). The responses here and leddit were basically "lol wut?". It seems that cloning/imaging Android partitions isn't really a thing. There was some sort of command that could be run through the Android SDK that sort of works, but is more of a backup then a clone/image.
If you find some alternative before this thread 404s, please post it here. I'd really like a solution, too.
Have you switched from Mac to the Surface /g/?

DETACHABLE SCREEN : NONE
Just be a good goyin and get the fastest Surface

A program that makes anime real.
No success ;_;
"Hello_World.c"
It's been kept open source for years on github, but it's been too perfect to modify or improve.

No.
Why?
I'm too stupid.
>buys 3200mhz RAM
>can only get a POST with 2400mhz

th-thanks AMD
Stop buying experimentally high frequency RAM sticks.
There is barely any performance boost to anything you're able to utilize.

werks on my machine faggot
>>60204872
this month major microcode update to help RAM timings
but either way, I have 3200mhz ram on my asus ROG with ryzen 1700X
Can you explain to me what this shit means?
no, use google.
>>60204845
I did
https://www.midi.org/specifications/item/table-1-summary-of-midi-message
I assume this is specifying the contents of the data variable, but what are the ticks? It doesn't make sense for them to be time signature markings unless there's some mechanism that causes the pattern to repeat.
>>60204845
Why would I do that when I have you faggots?
>decide to finally try Linux because Windows 10 is shit and W7 isn't as compatible with shit as it once was
>install Ubuntu, supposedly babby's first Linux distro
>try to install my nvidia card's drivers
>finally figure out what I need to download for my card thanks to google
>look up on google how to run the file because apparently double clicking it is too easy
>finally get it to run, get 4 separate errors, google how to fix each of them
>get a 5th error
>go back and install Windows 10
Linux must be for fucking autists because the most simple things are fucking bullshit. Fuck all you little faggots saying "LINUX IS THE BEST HURR DURR". Something as simple as installing Steam required me to look it up because Steam wouldn't open. Not everyone has the time or will to sit there, remember, and type 10 different commands just to fucking install something. Fuck Linux and fuck everyone claiming it's good. It's shit.
>>60204777
All you said its true to a certain level.
Linux sometimes is just plain retarted.
The additional drivers program which is installed by default on Ubuntu and it's derivatives takes care of Nvidia drivers automatically. It even integrates with Nvidia's PPA
This is 100% true. Yeah most of the time "it jest werks" but God help you if a driver doesn't work. Enjoy going down that bottomless pit of stack overflow posts telling you to install this, change that config etc etc. And besides because it's still tailored to autists more than normal people they just give you some .tar.gz file which you can install literally everywhere. This means that other programs are then gonna search for that and you have to edit 100 more config files, just because maybe one dude somewhere wanted to install Java in /usr/Pictures/holiday2017/
Is C honestly better than Python? In my experience python exhibited more potential due to the quadratic algorithms being more capable of pushing boolean codes efficiently. Python also has a more soild internal structure and a more viable anagram frame than most other programing software. The boolean codes synch up 100x faster than C++ and guarantees a not so cluttered coding experience given the optimal setting.

How many replies do you think it will take you to acknowledge that you have no clue what you're talking about?
Nef? Is that you? Did you get tired of iOS development?
Isn't perl actually superior to both?
Is Scala any good? Is it worth learning or is it just a meme language?
I took an online course for Python (I know) that was supposed to be an intro to programming. Didn't learn jack shit really, just doing retarded problems some pajeet was recycling where the answers were already on course hero.
I just want an honest answer about it, with the occasional shit post here and there. I stopped my online courses because being in the military and trying to go to school is hard as fuck when you have to get like 7 qualifications in under a year that normally take a year and a half to get.
>feels bad man
If you're using it to learn FP concepts or to get a job at a specific Scala company, go for it. Otherwise it's not too useful, you're better off learning Java for employability (yes, shit language, whatever, but it pays the bills) or Haskell to really learn FP.
>>60204820
Roger that, I had a feeling Java would be one of the recommendations employability wise but when I look at it I just want to stab someone, what are your thoughts on Kotlin if you have used it? It gets rid of a lot of the autistic boiler plate, but I don't think many companies have switched to it. I am liked F#, seems pretty straightforward but like you said, but probably not a language that is employable issue of MS.

Currently worthwhile CPUs:
>G4560 for budget builds (<$500) unless G4620/i3-7100 is heavily discounted
>i3 are only worthwhile for dwarf fortress & single-purpose emulator boxes
>i5 aren't worthwhile. Get Ryzen 5, drop down to G4560, or up to R7/i7
>R5 1400 is not worthwhile unless discounted
>i7-7700k is good but bad value. If over budget, an R5 is probably as good or better for you
>R7/Xeon for compute/multitask/mixed use. R5 1600 is budget.
Currently worthwhile GFX cards:
>RX570, RX480(if cheap & not blower), RX580, 1080, 1080TI
>RX570 is usually all you need for 1080p@60hz
>RX550 & RX560 are worth considering if you just need 6 monitor support for cheap and/or play low end shit
>1060 & 1070 are worth considering if you already have a Gsync monitor. 1050Ti is for mITX builds or if on sale at ~$100
>Nvidia GPU + Ryzen has issues in some specific games atm (Civ6, RoTR, Rocket League)
>Budget builds: consider integrated graphics over a card weaker than RX560
>May for Vega
General:
>No brand/model loyalty. Parametric filters on pcpartpicker can help
>Consider larger SSD-only for what you budget SSD+HDD combined. Add HDD later once needed
>NVMe aren't for faster OS boot. They're primarily for productivity as a scratch disk
>Stop fucking confusing any M.2 drive with NVMe. M.2 is a form factor
>mATX can often save cost as the board+case is usually cheaper
>1 DIMM is significantly slower than 2 DIMMs
Ryzen is a meme, wait for Raven Ridge.
Newbie here. Do I necessarily need a FreeSync monitor to go with the 1600 and RX 570? Does it make a significant difference? A monitor is the final thing I need, but it being FreeSync ups the price quite a bit.
Fellow Canadians, is it possible to get a decent 1080p IPS panel around $150-180?
Is there a functional difference between a 580 4gb and 570 is 1080p?
What if I upgrade to 1440p? I want to be able to play all my shit in Ultra.
Reminder that the windows store doesn't even have an official youtube app.

I have not seen a single person using a specialized youtube application outside of their phones. Everyone just uses Chrome on their laptops, or occasionally Firefox.
What normalfags won't tolerate is the lack of Chrome on the Windows Store.
