How can this be happening? We both run Ubuntu but he has a 2.8 GHz I7, while I have an A4-5000. both are quad-core but it's a single-threaded app so it only takes up 25% of the CPU

I've been torrenting all of my shit on the free version of bittorrent for a couple years now mostly without issue. The ads are a little annoying but I just mute it on the volume mixer and it's good to go. I always see people on here saying to drop utorrent or bittorrent and get a real torrent client (qbittorrent, etc)

Which is the best? Why is bittorrent considered bad exactly?

uTorrent started shovelling shitware with it as well as included a ton of creepy monitoring. I'm not sure about BitTorrent but I imagine the advertisements are part of the problem.

I can vouch for Deluge, and I've heard good things about Transmission.

I talked shit on Apple dropping the 3.5mm jack, but I realize now, it doesn't fucking matter.

My shop is almost all wireless headphones and they are far more convenient than using a 3.5mm jack.
Sure there is a small drop is audio quality, but it's worth it.

I wasn't able to TIG or spot weld with my phone in my pocket before, now I can listen to music with my phone 50ft away.

G-Sync has been broken for OVER A MONTH since the win10 creators update.

The driver UI is sluggish and inane way to change settings, no reason to change that though, we got TEH GFORCE EXPERIANZ!!! Wow, pardon me while I make the universal motion for a handjob.

When you change resolutions in a multi-monitor setup, your relative screen placement gets reset to the most retarded configuration possible and thousands of forum posts about black screens, go look it up.

I DONT KNOW if the amd drivers are really shit, but I FOR SURE know that Nvidias drivers are TERRIBLE.

yeah, the linux mint installer should have a option like "install alongside windows" and it'll just add a option to the windows boot manager

if it messes up something, just run the windows repair thing from your windows install usb/disc
