Have you non-free fags been told enough yet? What's it going to take for you to get on board with freedom?
To be honest, it's too much work for basically no gain. In fact it's usually a loss, because the rest of the world doesn't give a shit so if I have a completely free system (Parabola or something) then it means there's something I can't do, like watch porn, etc.
Also it would help if rms wasn't such an obnoxious autistic retard hippie.
>>60292137
>having good software isn't a gain
bullshit
>>60292625
Don't understand what your point is. I use gahnoo leencux ergo I have good software, but I'd rather use non-free stuff and have a fully functional experience with little to no hassle. I'm sure it's possible to have an equally functional experience with a 100% free system, I just can't be bothered to do it because what do I gain? Running non-free code doesn't keep me up at night.
Why aren't you using the progressive language of the future that respects women?
https://www.meetup.com/Women-Who-Code-Portland/events/228558503/
But how can it respect women if it has logical operators anon?
>>60291861
Because i can't write safe code in it
Women in technology is usually a mistake.
Why can't Windows laptops get a similar build quality like MacBooks?
Because Windows is for poor people

Yeah, and it halves the battery life.

ur a bit late to the party
Fuck off
>>60291752
When unity depends on gnome, its time to cut the middleman and just go straight to gnome
Guys i bought a CPU off ebay, risky i know but fuck it, it arrived yesterday, it came with a few bent pins, i have got them as straight as my mind and soul can manage, the thing still wont fit in the motherboard, for the love of god someone help.
>>60291714
Did you try using your hands?
>>60291714
op slide a credit card along the x and y grid of the pins, that will straighten er out.

KDE and GNOME fags crying over whats better. Both in denial of the true best DE.
>>60291704
Fast as fuck.
Used cinnamon and had frametime issues in all applications. Like a heartbeat of lag.
Made the switch and everything was fixed.
XFCE still can't into GTK3. That's why you'd better use Gnome these days.
It's been my go-to for years but I can understand why people want the modern polish that it lacks. Also customizing the whisker menu always glitches out for me so it's the first thing I remove from the panel. If it's for someone else I'll replace it with a launcher for the Application Finder.

Firefox BTFO. Firecucks will defend this
This is why I'm unironically using Edge now. Fucking modern browsers. I can't even keep the resource consumption down by running extension-free.

was that screenshot taken in 2003?

macfag here
pls dont buy one just to fit in
we have enough fags doing that already
buy it because its literally the best OS
so you lied on your application again eh.
As long as you're not on windoze it's okay.
Hey,

There is no magic formula for this. Just start playing around with networking (TCP/IP/switching/routing/protocols,etc.), Linux sysadmin and master programming concepts ( OO, data structures, algorithms, etc). There are tons of guides for this online.
Start contribute in projects on GitMeme in the area you indentify the most in order to develop some experience. I would also recommend you to build a mini lab at home with VPS systems online and play around with it when you have more experience in penetration concepts.
But don't fool yourself into think you are going to develop skills to become the Le hacker Meme. It's usually just a psychological trap for young man that visuallize power in the form of becoming a "hacker".
I'm wondering if it's safe to use my hetzner dedi as seedbox for RuTracker.
It is generally recommended to only use private trackers with Hetzner cuz Germany copyright infringement rules are harsh, but RuTracker is a different case imo. It's public but yeah, other than for example rarbg or piratebay you know.
I run it without vpn or anything, just a direct connection.

no such thing. we told you that in /wsr/.

Hmm well this seems like useless crap, think I'll stick with C.
What is a monad OP?

Because either constantly reallocating your array or scattering the contents all over memory is such a good idea. Much efficienct wow.
>>60291476
>what is malloc
You fucking scrub
>Pascal
>dynamically sized array
Yeah, no. Several Object Pascal dialects have something that looks like a dynamic array, but is actually just a pointer in disguise that's reallocated as needed and freed at the end of a procedure. Also all the modern 8-bit and unicode string types are heap-based with automatical reference counting.
http://wiki.freepascal.org/Dynamic_array
http://wiki.freepascal.org/Character_and_string_types#AnsiString
The pure Pascal way uses either arrays with fixed size baked into their type signature or pointers (including pointer arithmetic) just like C.
>can't even get a c++ hello world script to compile
the code is the one from stroustrup's textbook which to my horror doesn't give any help for linux users#include "std_lib_facilities.h"
