ok dude. They are totally gonna design a brand new version of SMT and then have the granularity in the design to choose between enabling 2.5 threads per core 1.5 threads per core and 3 threads per core. Nice one.

Why are there so many Macfags on /g/?
I wish macfags were as cute as the boy in your pic~
Lots of children here don't know tech, they are just materialistic consumers that find value and happiness in owning MSRP expensive items.

Get a job, I hear mowing lawns can be pretty lucrative
Seriously though, go around to local tech companies and see if they are taking any interns. Sadly most of the slots are usually filled by early April, so good luck getting a job.
If all else fails try making a product that you can market and sell, desu that is extremely impressive if you can pull it off and can easily net you a job, even if it is not very successful
if you look like that girl in your pic i'm sure camwhoring would make you mad dosh
Tell me tips to detect a trojan or someone who has got into my PC (windows 7)
Thanks in advance.

Reinstall
Uninstall Windows
>>60303928
Is it needed to copy-paste lots of archives over the already installed ones just to re-magnetize the whole disk and thus, deleting the possible trojan?
>NEETs actually think professionals use Linux
>When NEETs say they use Linux for work purposes
>>60303883
In this case, NEETs are actually right. The vast majority of web servers are Linux based. A substantial amount of data centers also run a variant of Linux.

What can one do with windows over linux?
We have a person on our C++ dev team who is an ANSI C zealot and refuses to write anything that wouldn't compile under -std=c90 -pedantic-error.
It's actually getting difficult to integrate his changes to the codebase because his style of programming is much more terse and difficult to read, it clashes with the rest of the team, sometimes he'll even write get/set wrappers around classes in C++ and extern "C" them just so they'll work in C. He puts them in files named "wrapper.cc".
He refuses to listen and the project manager doesn't want to hear it because they don't care about "technical debt".
How do we sabotage his efforts at avoiding C++ so he can finally cooperate with the rest of the team?
He's right.
>>60303819
This. If he's been able to do these great works and avoid the chopping block thus far in a corporate environment, you should bow to him.
>>60303803
Why can't you just fire him or push him to another team? Working on a team means making sacrifices towards teamwork, and coding in manner that makes it hard to work with the rest of team is pretty counterproductive.
Why is Linux so shit? Take this, for example. When I was introduced to Linux there were these cool features like compiz, everyone was like "look how easy it's to make cool bubbles in Linux, take that windows!!" (it stopped being supported) and then I used this dwell click (my hands are sensitive) and it overlapped with the UI so I could easily turn it on/off when needed.
This thing is fucking bugged and randomly stops working. Besides, it doesn't overlap with the UI anymore. This is in Debian but it's also bugged in other ways in Ubuntu and Linux Mint (which is a meme, it is even more bugged). I know it's a niche feature but it's in the options menu, it's not even a separate program I installed. In what OS do you have official features from the fucking options menu not work?
Calls DE's OS's

Yes.

Hey guys so for the longest time I wanted to pursue a career in mechanical engineering for like NASA, Space X, JPL, etc but I took a physics class this year and I'm really enjoying it and love everything about it so now I'm stuck between engineering or physics can you guys please help me decide and if any of you have a career in either one please tell a little about yourself and job. Thank You.
>>60303593
Might have better luck posting this in >>>/sci/
>>60303593
I interned at JPL once. All the mechanical engineers had fun projects where they built shit, but the scientists were designing new experiments or new technologies for their planned missions 10 years in the future.

What the fuck did I miss?
Is Linux still irrelevant, and utter garbage?
Is Windows 10 still pajeetware garbage? Let's see:
>"You need to restart your computer to apply this settings change. Restarting..."
>"Program successfully installed. You need to restart your computer to complete the installation. Restarting..."
>forced restart to apply updates
>can't use your computer while installing updates; have to sit there and stare at the screen as it installs them
>"we couldn't complete the updates, undoing changes..."
>"restarting..."
>can't refuse specific features in an update
>can't refuse updates at all, unless you disable them completely, but...
>have to disable critical security updates just to make the system usable
>but it will only be usable for a week because Windows has more holes than swiss cheese
>still need an anti-virus
>still need to defrag occasionally
>still need to reinstall Windows regularly due to windows rot (this is arguable, some people say that you won't get windows rot if you use you take precautions, but no such measure are required on other operating systems)
>BSOD- It is NEVER acceptable to let the entire operating system crash when a single application causes a problem, yet Windows allows it.
>can't change the Desktop UI without some broken hacky shit
>can't customize anything outside of what Microsoft "allows"; it's Microsoft's computer for as long as Windows is installed on it
>feature creep
>ads in file manager
>ads in settings UI
>ads in start menu
>NTFS (LOL)
>Registry (LOL)
Totally worth it though as long as you can stay part of the l33t PC MASTUURRR RAYCE CLUB, right? end your fucking life
>>60303618
But it's still more useable than linux and the applications actually work too.
>>60303618
Holy shit Windows is still that fucking bad? I swear to god winfags will defend anything
