It doesn't progress smoothly. Torrents are in pieces that can only be hash checked after they're downloaded. If the piece doesn't check it gets redownloaded.
You can increase the UI refresh, though. I know uTorrent's default is once a second.

Opera internet browser:
Pros:

> Floating youtube feature.

> Uses chromium engine
> Can use chrome extensions which is the most popular web-browser to develop extensions these days. High quality.
> Good and customizable speed-dial page compared with for example Chrome which is more locked browser.
Cons:
> Not overall as fast as Chrome
> Arguable not as beautiful as chrome
> Not very customizable with look due to hidden code-source
> Not as reliable with HTML and certain web-pages as chrome and firefox.
Conclusion: This is the web-browser for more experienced and advanced users, who needs for instance customize shortcuts.
More freedom than Google-chrome. Suitable for someone that looks after a web-browser that do more than "just werks".
Google chrome
Pros:
> Simplicity
> Reliable
> Beautiful due to simplicity
> Overall fastest
> High quality extensions and overall very popular
Cons:
> Not customizable. Hidden source code.
> Simplicity is not always good, especially for for advanced users. It's both a pro and a con.
> Rely on extensions to be usable
Conclusion:
While Opera and Chrome both are very similar, Chrome is definitely much more simple and user-friendly. Perfect for end-users. Also being beautiful, it's easy to see why this is the most used web-browser to this day. However, it's not perfect.

Mozilla Firefox.
Pros:

Do you have a computer that is old and can only run XP? Use linux(ubuntu mate) to give it some life.
