I would have probably slaughtered the user for their sheer stupidity, we've made a huge deal about spam / junk e-mails for the last year at the very least. All I would have had to do was recreate their user profile and it would have automatically downloaded their user folders from a back up, but I don't have the patience for it.

I disabled Windows updates a year ago when I was scared about 7 automatically upgrading to 10. I heard about all the hubbub today and did all the security updates IMMEDIATELY (after unplugging my computer from the network and backing up everything) and everything is peachy now.
