Would you hire him, /g/?
>>60354232
I don't hire niggers.
>>60354232
I mean it seems he spent more time making a fuckin sign than making a resume so no
>>60354232
Of course not. He did a masters in engineering - clearly he wants to do research for a living. My company only wants coders.

What's a good password manager that actually fucking works?
I'm using KeePass + Keefox because I fell for the freetard meme and I STILL have to type in a password on 90% of the websites I visit.
>>60353178
The cloud based ones have much better autofill support, but storing your passwords on a server you don't own is absolutely retarded.
Then you're probably doing something wrong, because it work great on 99% of websites for me.
For linux I can recommend pass
rofi-pass if you want something flexible
I want to learn assembly so I can step up my coding to a slightly more autistic level.
Any suggestions on an IDE for newbies to Assembly?
And as a side note, general advice for learning / using Assembly would be greatly appreciated.

You don't need an IDE
I use gnu emacs for everything
I use neovim for everything
What is with this trend of heug 1080p monitors? 24 in. and 27 in. FHD monitors, why? The ppi is abysmal, they're pointless for gaming since the pixels are visible at typical monitor distance, yet you see "gaming monitors" everywhere now at 1080p/144Hz at 27in. which looks awful. I don't get it, unless you're a content creator and need pixel perfect editing, a 27 in. FHD monitor is awful yet people are apparently buying them.
>>60352667
Try moving the monitor back more than a foot you myopic nerd.
>>60352667
i use a 27 inch FHD with wide gamut AdobeRGB accuracy for photo editing, im zoomed into pixel level anyways.
>>60352667
Because lots of people don't know any better.

I recently been really interested in 8 bit computers like the C64, the speccy or MSX. Not just for the games but I want to experience what was it like to be an office worker and do spreadsheets in one of these or be a kid and do homework in one of these or develop some software.
Do you guys have any resources on what productivity software was popular on those old machines?

Hello /g/, I am struggling to make a decision. I am getting a new computer soon and I am trying to decide which mouse keyboard combo to go with!
here are my two top picks:
Razer deathadder elite + Ornata chroma
or
Logitech G810 + G403
I can't decide between the two because on the one hand the deathadder is a long time proven piece of hardware with loads of reviews to back it up and the ornata has medium height keys that i like with incredibly quick actuation points, while the g403 is basically a deathadder clone with logitech reliability and much lower wight and a 10g removable weight and the g810 has romer-G switches that much like the ornata have very quick actuation points.
basically, they're the same, but different. i can get both combos for just about the exact same price. help?
desperation bump!
I've used the Deathadder for years now, and It's wonderful for gaymen. I can't really give a recommendation on a keyboard, as I use whatever has blue MX switches.
>>60348981
yep, that's one of the strengths of the deathadder, a long time supported products.
