Angry IP scanner is still around? Lots of memories with the bois. "Ironically" sick each others dick, play some vidya, cause mischief. Wouldn't trade it for anything.

Hacking cama sounds fun and easy but with (((cybercrime))) being a death sentence + tip these days I'll pass.

we need more assets in intelligence to go around kicking doors and tracking people who violate copyright law, its literally the wild west and noone is doing anything to stop it.

Its a fact crimes like this lead to bigger crimes ie bank robbery, drug addiction, etc....

Anyone here ever try Linux From Scratch, or know someone who did? Do anything cool with it? Make it a usable system for daily use? Still run it daily?
9 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
>Anyone here ever try Linux From Scratch
Yes.

>Do anything cool with it[?]
Not really. Anyone who does do anything interesting with LFS makes their own distro; e.g. Solus, Arya

>Make it a usable system for daily use
Making it usable would pretty much consist of installing a package manager, which, at that point, why not install the distro which the package manager works best on and just modify it to how you would like?

At what point does LFS end and a different distro Begin?

>Still run it daily?
See previous answer.

Write a C program that does the most complicated thing you can think of.

Contraints:
The program can be no longer than 3 lines of code. No libraries other than stdlib.

I want to create the ultimate media server for my house. How would /g/ do this?

>>
Have you heard about Gentoo?
>>
>>60382020
Well I use Plex, Deluge, Sonarr and Radarr using a desktop. It does what I want it to do. Or you could use Kodi or the other one that's like Plex but different.

One anon did some pretty cool setup for his nephews favorite youtube videos using youtube-dl and some autism pills
>>
Let me guess, you want to do it for free?

If not, buy a plex pass. Buy a nuc and an external 8-bay jbod with a couple of 8TB drives so you have room for future growth. Buy a second external drive to use as a backup drive for the media.

Install it in your closet and wire your house for Ethernet. Have an appletv on your Ethernet network.

Cost maybe around $5K?

Hey Y’all,

I am looking for a music manager.
I have around 3,000+ FLAC and MP3 songs that I’ll like to organized.

I am looking for something that has the following features:

- Fill in missing information (Track artist, genres) from the internet
- Find and remove damage and corrupted files.
-find and remove duplicates or give me the option to which to keep based on bitrate/ file size.

Which software would you recommend?
