Been lurking around on .onion sites, just to see what kind of dumb/weird/interesting shit is out there.

What .onion finds have you scored? (inb4 hell forums [we get it, you think Kali is pretty cool]).

oh yeah, on Windows don't forget to add it to your path so you can use it from command line.

cd into the folder you want the video to download to unless it goes to the c://user location by default or whatever is the location in cmd.

When was the last time you made a donation to an open-source project?

I bought a copy of synergy a couple of years ago.
Also, does code contributions count as donations? I've done that very recently.

>>
>>60439864
Of course code counts. It's volunteer work after all, which is a donation of your time/labor.

Why don't we have an open source, beautiful, minimalistic, cross-platform, and easy to use XMPP client with forced OTR encryption and group chat support? It's 2017. How does this not exist?
15 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
Because Pidgin was good enough.

Back then Hangouts and Facebook Messenger worked over XMPP and you could even encrypt messages so there was no need for stuff like Tox or Signal.

Messaging wasn't as shitty as it is today. It only got like that thanks to BBM, WhatsApp and iMessage. If it wasn't for it's retarded limitation and their retarded users swallowing them like dicks, we would still have huge corporations doing public APIs to use their services.

There's Wire though.

>Because Pidgin was good enough.
There is no group chat support. What I'm basically saying is open source Discord with e2e crypto.

(Telegram doesn't count. If one or both users are using the desktop client, no crypto. If one or both users haven't opted into crypto, no crypto. There is no crypto for group chat. There is no crypto anywhere by default. Fuck Telegram.)

I'm buying a laptop for college and I want something for school work, programming, and light gaymes. Preferable something without a chiclet keyboard, can dual boot linux, and isn't a thinkpad.

Does anybody know of any 2016/2017 laptops that don't have a chiclet keyboard besides Alienwares? I literally can't find any

I have been debating GNU/Linux after lurking here for a small time but I can't rationalize it against the games I want, and my comfort with windows systems. Most importantly is the spyware and bloat getting killed off, then maybe customizing visuals or something similar. Are there any /g/ approved guides to uncucking my system?
