Debian is the clear choice in Linux distribution superiority. Ubuntu is an acceptable substitute.

SUUUURRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEE
Other than the Coil whine meme, why shouldn't I buy the XPS 13?
The config I'm likely buying is $1,182.49 after CA sales tax.
>i5 7200U
>8gb RAM
>256gb PCIe SSD
>1080P Matte display
>finger print reader option
Considering a Yoga 910 on clearance for $1,000...$1,100 or so after tax..$80 savings is in no way enough to sway me, but it does have an i7 7500U...that would really make no difference (if power was a concern, I'd just just an XPS 15 and call it a day), so it would come down to how things other than specs, are.
just get a thinkpad nigger
enjoy your coil whine and shite keyboard

Shit build quality.
Biggest regret I have with buying tech was buying one of these.
The hinges suck, start creaking after a month or two and one of my hinges broke after 6 months.
Also the aluminum casing is very easy to dent.
i have 8000$ and want to buy a gaming PC, what's the better i can get?
Sigh....
You can build your own gaming PC with top stats and every feature you'd want for $2,000 -- and that's being generous.
>>60474846
Very generous!

Isnt like that you are going to get every single "game" that comes out and cry bullshit about it
Most people on PC don’t play 4K, they are happy with 1k and even less without having to waste on their "multitasking memes" getting 3 screens, if anything 2 are enough
You say game PC
Tell me what games
or actually worth using?
>>60474642
the whole 'privacy' and 'secure' thing is most likely just a meme, but it's pretty comfy and I use it as my main
its been shilled so hard here the last week i'll never use it on general principle
I'm using as my main too. Keeps getting better.

Anyone know of a cheap PCIe FPGA board?
>Nintendo, having access to the exact design specifications of the NES, could have used an FPGA to make a perfect hardware simulation of it in the NES mini

Will there ever be a better keyboard than the IBM Model M?
>>60473952
I have a Model F, newfag nigger.
>>60473952
How about a North American IBM Model M..?
>>60473952
I miss that keyboard. Used to take it apart and wash it in the bathtub to clean it. Only went away when the world went USB. I adapted the 5pin DIN to PS/2 but was as far as I could go.
Lack of a Windows key too.
What's the best mobile browser and why is it Opera Mini?

Samsung Internet Beta works pretty well, though it looks like iOS browser, which is a shame
>>60473944
Botnet as fuck. No joke. Opera got bought out by the chinamen quite a while back.
It's also just a chrome clone. You might as well just use the official chrome which already has a decent data saver.
Say what you will about Apple, but the iPhone 6s in Space Gray was a beautiful phone. Now they're moving to glass for the new one and that just seems eh.

Debian's good. In fact it's done a lot of good for normalfags looking to switch from Windows (see Ubuntu)
>>60473585

>>software is from 2010 and considered obsolete by better distros
Let me guess, you need to have the latest version because... It's the latest? The only packages that absolutely need to be on the latest version are browsers, and maybe Wine and LibreOffice. And there's back ports for that.
>>packages are compiled by each developer, no way to know exactly how a package was built, what was added or changed
Compared to AUR and PPAs they're far more transparent.
>>retarded package naming
Not an argument.
>>they still use mailing lists for reporting bugs
Instead of GitHub or forums. What's the problem?
>>deb sucks

That's how GNU works, retard.
>>bad defaults
Debian has very sane defaults. Especially if you compare them to something shitty like Arch or Ubuntu.
>>debian developers make more bugs than fixing existing bugs (#363516)
Oh boy, that one case sure showed me.
Who cares, where's Debian 9

Terry, the beloved programmer of TempleOS has been banned from YouTube. :[
I don't know if it was permanent since his videos are still there, but he's trying to host videos on his site now.
I saw the video that got him suspended this time, he said if he found out "Dianna slept with a nigger" he would have to "kill all niggers", this video was removed due to the "harassment & bullying" policy. He was provoked into making that video due to a troll on the comment section on his previous video.
F
The dang dirty trolls got to him too?
>>60472933
if we live in a simulation, then terry's concept of god is much closer to reality than any religion.
