Any love for earbuds?

I have a Monk+. It's the comfiest shit for home listening as it doesn't make me sweat like a full sized can does in this summer heat.

I'm awaiting my NiceHCK Vido and a set of KZ cables for a cable swap.

Theoretically speaking, and i mean solely theoretically, would it improve my privacy if I do every privacy related activity on a linux based operation system with Iridium browser with VPN and using safe search engines like Quant on a dual-boot manner or i would have to get rid of win10 whole?

Also can I make something on linux like a host file in win to ban every google and microsoft related site?

How do I get into ricing my DE?
I'm still fairly new to Linux and don't know anything about customization.
I'm using stock XFCE at the moment and want to make it not look like garbage.
Should I just start with changing themes and/or making panels?
Any programs I should install for animations or something?
Are there any guides I should look up?

That's fucking retarded. Each discrete component should have its own repo, and their build system should fetch all of the necessary repos.

I'm slowly getting divorced from Google. My phone is no longer a botnet (Lineage without gapps), I hardly ever use my gmail account anymore (going to phase it out once LavaBit opens again), got off Drive, etc.

There's still one thing that bothers me. Search engines. I use DuckDuckGo, but pretty much every other day I will end up getting unsatisfactory results in response to some query. I then end up caving and adding !g. I don't want to.

What are some other decent search engine options to try when DDG fails me? Ideally stuff that is privacy driven, but hell, I'll take anything that isn't run by an asshole corporation.

Are there any tricks to getting good results without Google?

Yes, use google.

>Ideally stuff that is privacy driven, but hell, I'll take anything that isn't run by an asshole corporation.
DDG is ran by a nigger who literally sold information from users in something something he did.
>>
>>60564195
Just use StartPage. It is basically a proxified version of Google.

Not him but I would like a better supported non-systemd distro. Right now I've got a hacky openrc setup that may or may not last.
