>type Captcha in for new thread
>You forgot to solve the CAPTCHA
wtf?
>>60576862
whatever happened to this?
https://www.wired.com/2014/12/google-one-click-recaptcha/
now we either have to click 50 cars/signs or use legacy captcha
>>60576862
>select all cars
>selects all cars
>error try again, select all cars
>selects all the fucking cars
>error try again, select all signs
>no fucking sings
>error try again, select all signs
>selects all fucking signs
>error, try again, select all store fronts
>50 fucking store fronts selected later
>try again select all cars
>select only 3/4 of a fucking car
>passes captcha and gets to post
EVERY
FUCKING
TIME
also I always select legacy captcha and it reverts back to new captcha for some reason, I never clear my cookies or history either. I don't notice it and wind up doing the new captcha for months before I realize it and change it back then have to deal with
>type all this shit in a foreign language
>nail it, looks absolutely perfect
>error try again, type all this chink shit
They do this to force us to complete more capchas, basically make us do more work for free.
>>60576862
legacy captcha doesn't work for making threads anymore
this whole site is shit
Why do I keep coming back to Notepad++, /g/?
Tell me how it is, I can take it.
Notepad++ is pure and simple.
>>60576796
Notepad++ developer is a moron with split personality disorder who defends terrorists.
Yeah it's pretty nice for Winfags. Kate is better though.
Why isn't everyone using the best browser?

Using it on Android.
Doesn't play Webm or videos.
Has ad blocker but no ad collapsing.
Could be better but it's good.
Why is Linux so popular in India?
There are 200 times more Linux users in India than in America and Europe combined.
Do you have any sources for that?
If it's true then that's great.
What statistics are you considering? There are 1.3b people in India. The percentage of developers in the computer useing part of the population is probably higher as well.
cause poojeets cant afford a windows license
so guy can you help me
how many lights does a good motherboard have?
is 4 already considered good or should i start with one that has at least 8?
>>60576266
One. Unless you are counting the LED indicators on the LAN port as well.
Depends on the colors.
4 is usually enough if they're blue LEDs since those cool your motherboard but if you want something more exotic like green, yellow or even red 8 is the bare minimum.
>>60576266
Props to MSI DESU, they give no fucks.

THANK YOU BASED NVIDIA
>>60576190
That's a cute render.
>>60576190
What does nvidia have to do with a partner building a compact card?
Actual questions:
1. how much performance will the card lose by running on PCI-E x1 instead of x16?
2. won't the small plastic PCI-E x1 slot break from such a heavy card?
Many years ago microsoft told me no more green button on the bottom and today I can firmly say "no".
is this the new desktop thread

Why is there no open source linux phone without android or ios? I was thinking of just getting a x86 tablet and install debian on it. or bulding that rasbian brick.
as far as mobile os'es:
ubuntu mobile - dead
firefox os - dead
tizen - has potential but no one seems interested? only 3 pajeet phones, many security risks
nokia linux thingy - dead -> moved to sailfish os. what about the Neo900? Is this still a thing? or is it old?
sailfish os - proprietary ui. fuck that!
kde mobile - is it dead? what is the dev doing? the last update on the website is 2016. you know I don't want an OS that is handled by one dev, that's just as worse as ungoogled chromium.
cyanogen mod - proprietary libraries, but dead -> became lineage os
lineage os - proprietary libraries

open source on mobile is dead. no one cares about phones.

You would get arrested too often if anyone saw that shit in your hands.

does it have e911 shit? I dont want no tracky by the feds
I want to get into IT-Secutiry (Pen-Testing, Perhaps some grey-hat exploit peddling if I can acquire the skills, general hacky fuckery) but most online services just try to sell you their online-course.
Would some kind /g/entoomen give me some pointers?
Currently doing CS at Uni and bored out of my mind.
I'd appreciate the help.
There was a good thread on it a while ago. It seems its hard to break into as a fresh graduate. I was thinking about doing it but decided to say fuck it and went with accounting instead. If it wasnt so hard to break into and employers realized the importance of infosec then it would be worthwhile. If youre bored with cs i dont see you liking infosec tho
>>60575930
Bored as in the courses are boring as shit. "Best practices of object orientation", come the fuck on I don't need some asshole telling me about object calisthenics.
>>60575949
I dont visit the board as often as i used to but i think theres a infosec general you could probably post in there as cancerous as generals can be tho.
Why is everyone shitting on NordVPN?
They seem to win the privacy-contest.
>>60575775
Can we please start bannig VPN shills?
>>60575775
VPN shill please go away. No one will pay you $80 a year for a jail ticket. Also nice PC magazine awards on your page, almost screams "FREE JAIL JUST PAY US $80"
>>60576951
>>60576969
U wot? I just bought a 2 year subscription to their shit, thinking it was good since it was nearly all green on that VPN site.
I'm still able to get a refund, please redpill me.

admit it freetards, your OS is shit not because of evil Microsoft but because your community is useless at producing a viable desktop OS.

Laundry tech to remove dumb kids from the gene pool
>>60575455
I've heard it's a jap thing to buy a tiny washing machine and wash whatever you wore at the end of each day. Then you can get by with only two sets of clothing.
Sounds pretty convenient desu, I think I'll do this once I'm out of student housing.
