SMB was a mistake.
it's not perfect, but it's definitely more secure than windows

Relatively decent hardware that's crippled by the OS.
>>60580772
A final attempt to be competitive followed shortly by a lack of support and a myriad of outdated applications. Could be worse
>>60580772
That looks really awkward to hold and type on.
Hi gee. How do I learn tech/prog as a hobby? I took C++ in college as fun but that was 6 yrs ago. I wanna do python>java>c++>sql>php.

So tell me again why you dislike Python and Java?
>>60580453
They are both fine
I prefer Kotlin though. Can write it almost as quickly as Python while getting the type safety and libraries of Java.

Yeah let me dig through all 20,000 object factories and classes here to try and figure out what the fuck is actually going on.

I have even better protection since I wear a metal helmet. Your head is the most crucial body part to protect, after all!

Post your simple/small/stupid questions, if they are Technology related.
If it takes less than 5 seconds to google or wikipedia the answer, fuck off.

I'm trying to "install" JUnit.
To that end, i downloaded junit 4.10 and tried to add the jar to my classpath, like this:
export CLASSPATH=$CLASSPATH:~/junit4.10/junit-4.10.jar
export CLASSPATH=$CLASSPATH:~/junit4.10
Now, that WORKED and i was able to run the example test suite.
But after i close the terminal, and started it up again, the classpath was unset.
How do i permanently set the classpath? it's literally useless if it doesn't stay set.
does anybody have a picture of that tweet Terry Davis had where he used the word 'niggerlicious'???
>>60580459
add the export to your shell init script (For bash, it's ~/.bashrc
When will we make three 100m diameter Petawatt fusion reactors on every continent?
>>60580364
I think /sci/ would know more
>>60580368
/sci/ doesn't know shit. Making reactors work is an engineering problem.
>>60580374
It's actually a /pol/ problem because libruls REEEEEEEEEEEEEE when you start talking about building nuclear reactors.

>Intel Core i7 OR AMD Ryzen 7
>Intel Core i5 OR AMD Ryzen 5
Wow it's fucking nothing.
>>60580319
who thought this was a good idea?
nYidia wants Ryzen to succeed. lower priced CPUs means gaymers can spend more on their graphics cards. the yid just doesn't want Radeon to succeed.
Its about time gpus made the switch from pcie to a dedicated socket. in a nut shell we could see direct access to the ram for increased computing and easier offloading. Additionally we could say goodbye to the abysmal coolers and use cpu style coolers which have been shown to have significance performance over a gpu cooler. this could also make for upgradable gddram or instead opt for a single ram platform. dedicated gddram would be useful of course for secure computing. think of all the benefits. if only we had an open socket standard for gpus..
>>60580310
You mean like the dedicated socket they used to have over 9000 years ago?
>>60580310
AGP sucked.
