So the internet as we know it is over. ITT we predict what the internet will be like in five years and come up with ideas on how to make a better internet 2.0.
>c. 2022
>internet is basically like tv, you get a package with all the web sites you know and love and for a fee you upgrade internet to get even more websites (maybe the alexa top 500).
>illegal to hook up an unregistered server on the open internet
>illegal to visit un-approved IPs (they're blocked by default)
>illegal to use unbreakable encryption
>open source OS users put on watch lists
Not even exaggerating.
who are you quoting, my good man?
>>60755917
also, I believe this is happening because (((they))) are losing control.
>>60755933
I'm just green texting. It's a meme that originated on reddit/9gag
>MEGA patches their system so you can't download anything over 5GB without paying
https://www.reddit.com/r/megalinks/comments/6f0z7h/meta_megadownloader_and_megatools_are_no_longer/
>streaming sites like Gomovies, Yesmovies, Fmovies, Solarmovies have been swept by Google for hosting pirated movies on their service and will probably start completely stopping people from using the loophole that allows people to host pirated movies privately on Google's servers for playing it elsewhere
https://www.reddit.com/r/Piracy/comments/6f9byc/does_anyone_know_a_streaming_site_thats_not_down/
Remember when you retards said that streaming sites and DDL are better than torrents?
This is why p2p always beats your stupid server-based piracy.
>>60755708
you just split the rar retard.
>>60755734
They ban your IP after you download 5GB no matter how you download.
>>60755708
>He's not on PTP and BTN
what's the point of using photoshop?
gimp and krita are almost as good.
>he's willing to download some chinese dll botnet for a few features
>he's actually willing to pay $10 a month
>>60755670
2B IS NOT FOR LEWD DELET THIS IMMEDIATELY
>>60755670
i want to fug 2b
>>60755670
what's the point of using a car?
public transportation is almost as good.
>he's willing to pay for a car just due to convenience
Dont you feel bad about pirating?
I mean as a programmer its one of the worst insults you could do.
>program usually costs 1000+ dollars
>Torrent it and laugh all the way to my savings account.
>>60755443
Selling copies does not apply well to programming. Deal with it and move on to:
support fees
feature request fees
>>60755443
when i get only 0.000001% of the revenue for one single payment meanwhile the company makes the rest of the money i don´t see why i should feel bad about it it´s not like they are starving desu
So I was thinking about something /g/
I realized that with our current tech we have now, a net navi is technically possible.
It wouldn't be .exe of course. But it could work
We have the sims and they have "free will"
What if we took the idea of sims creator and turned it into a Net Navi Creator and it could do what we needed it to do.
So something silly that would be fun to do with it would be is have it have sim-like ability is to eat something so it could go through your cache data and it since it's normally worthless and hell it would help make space. A toggle voice like the sims would work. It could learn all words it needed from google.
>Why /g/ and not /v/?
I wanted /g/'s opinion on it and there are always programmers floating here. So I thought to ask, how hard/long would it take? I figured something like this would be over a gb+ big. Which if it did EVERYTHING it's meant to do, I would be completely OK with taking that space
>How would the programmers make money?
I thought maybe microtransactions. At least you could buy say chips/weapons and clothes.
thoughts?
What the fuck are you on about.
>>60755511
>I can't read
Do you not know what Megaman.exe is?
>>60755407
1. You're autistic
2. Google Assistant is the closest we have to Net Navi now
>firefox
>standards-conforming browser
I'm sure they'll catch up eventually!
You'll have to provide more technical details than that, dummy. That score tells us nothing. What does Chrome have or do correctly that Firefox lacks or does incorrectly? For all we know, they didn't toggle some Firefox prefs, or perhaps Firefox developers decided against something for security/privacy reasons (though admittedly that's a rarity).
>>60755321
>Use arbitrary numbering system to evaluate something without providing technical background on the subject matter.
Into the trash it goes.
>still using sjwfox
well done, lunixfags
>>60755292
>he's pretending to be retarded again
>using loonix
>on a daily basis
dangerous
>his prtscr key doesn't actually call the printer and print the screen

it very simple, its admin(owner), group, user
each has three places
1st one is for read (r)
2nd one is for write (w)
3rd one is for execute (x)
if you don't hae the permission you have -
for example:

Geekbench3 is cache bound garbage and that's the reason Apple uses it all the time.
It's inflating scores like old CPU-z did.

AES256 is already hacked by NSA.
I want to use AES2048 to encryption. How can I?
>>60754904
you have to become the NSA
AES256 is mathematics, idiot.
You're basically saying that the NSA found a pattern in prime numbers
>>60754951
Yes they very well might have if we dont do something right now.
I read a lot about Ethereum the last few weeks and finally decided to install Mist. The blockchain is syncing for nearly 2 days now and i am still 80k blocks away and the current sync speed is 1block/s. Has one of you guys synced the blockchain succesfully recently?
>>60754848
Appearantly Jaxx has a smaller blockchain on disk, dunno if its any good though.
>>60754869
I probably try that later. All went pretty well until the fast sync stopped after 10h and the last few 100k blocks began to sync in normal mode.
The hype surrounding this shit is baffling. It's inefficient trash.
>he doesn't shitpost from an 8-bit Atmel microcontroller
It's like you love bloat.
this thread is so bad
fuck your for posting this trash
>>60754720
your just jealous :^). go back to your intel / amd shilling.
>>60754702
>He doesn't fuck himself
It's like you love AIDS
Is Intel even attempting to try at this point?
>>60754681
Its very clear they're not.
>>60754715
Its very clear you're samefagging.
When will zen2 be out, is the question
I'm certainly not buying another 4 core processor again if it doesn't have a substantial IPC increase over previous generations
