This should be fun.
This shit better not be $1000.

>This shit better not be $1000.
You are right, it should be $2000 minimum.
>>60766634
>>60766660
It's 349$ that's reasonable price.
I literally don't know what happend to apple on this wwdc they literally showed 2 good priced products and that's a lot for them.
Does linux make animetards completely insane? Just look at this shit
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELelLy1lq-s
It's anime that causes the insanity.
Going on 4 years sober.
linuxfags and animufags were already completely insane
it's only natural that they go together.
>>60766608
Anime made me sane. Before anime, I thought the sluttiness of the typical western girl was something normal and to be accepted but now I realize that they are only good for pump and dump at best and to be completely ignored at worst.
Watch a master at work. templeos programming stream
HES BACK!!
Why isn't he developing it on the OS itself? Isn't it the only truly divine way?
>>60766751
run on a virtual machine because it makes rollbacks easy if you fuck something up. easier to replace a file than reinstall an OS
The only reason is that it's not bloated or dumbed down, simple and gets out of your way, but also has an easy install.
>was expecting this to be longer
I use Debian too but to be honest this is a pointless and rather boring thread.
It's the biggest community project and has most packages, too.
>>60766572
you just use it because you're a fucking special snowflake who doesn't like the fact that normal people use Ubuntu
I'm very interested in it...
I'm currently learning C++ just so I can get a foothold into the "C" line of programming languages so I can modify open source software on Linux, but I've heard some people criticize it.
People criticize it because it's not especially fast and "Python has more libraries!", but it's insanely fun to write in and very very easy to learn.
It has a lot of application in system deployment and management, and Rails is pretty decent, but don't expect to be building big applications with it.
It's a meme
Now there are good memes mind you, but that doesn't mean that they aren't memes
Whether ruby is a good meme or not is debatable
Alright, thanks. I think I'll stick with C++ then.
Why $1200?
I thought the MB was meant to take the MBA's $1000 price point?
>$500 for touch bar

>>60766297
>Why $1200?
Because they're the fucking worst.
They didn't discontinue MBA.

>>60765906

That's not a bug, it's a feature request.

C really sucks when it comes to refactoring. Nobody wants to touch any legacy C/C++ codebase. It's not only gtk.
Companies still pay people to maintain legacy language codebase until those modules gets rewritten in managable language
is there any good alternative to github that isn't infested with sjws? I've looked up bitbucket and gitlab and the cancer seems to spread very fast. are public version control hosts doomed to fail in our timeline?
>>60765537
Gitlab is fine
You can host your own instance of gitlab if you are that vulnerable.
Bitbucket defaults to private repos, and gitlab is basically github without the retarded SJW owners.
You can't avoid these screeching harpies demanding everybody include them in any kind of public forum, just ignore their shit and only move systems when the system owners start caving into their insane demands.
narps want to get laid > narps go after unattractive chicks for best odds > unattractive chicks think misogyny is the reason their lives are in the shitter > narps adopt sjwism for the purposes of procreation. This is currently the cancer killing computing as a hobby/career field, and is the general reason why male dominated fields have good reasons to resist 'equity'
