Does anyone know how UK police would have been able to look on this bloke's Apple Notes app?

Maybe someone saw him type "helicopter" and ran to a cop?
They obviously accessed the hardware backdoor on all phones within range and monitored them for anything suspicious
I made some more progress on a Game Boy emulator for TempleOS
but can it run crysis?

Nice.
Does it have sound yet?

I have a few more changes to make to the tile renderer, then I'm going to do a Freq2Ona audio implementation
>automatic room analysis using the beam forming six microphone array
>automatic and dynamic equalization based on the data gathered from the arrival times and spectra of the mic array
>seven beam forming tweeters for directional or omnidirectional response
>4" woofer with 20mm peak to peak excursion(!!)
>individual amplification for each transducer(a necessity for the DSP)
basically a full range point source, auto-calibrating loudspeaker for wireless play. lads this is fucking amazing. hopefully this will boost the utterly stagnant consumer audio industry and cause an influx of competitive products and technologies on the market.
I can't think of use for a voice assistant. I mean, everything I can say with my voice, I can type on my keyboard, and only I know what I type, where's everybody around me hears what I say and I don't feel comfortable with that. Also all that room analysis and listening all the time sounds like spying device. AI assistants are cool if they know only what you want them to know, and I don't want Amazon, Google or Apple to listen all the time what I do in my room.
>>60779943
Listening to "Hey Siri" is local. Anything after is encrypted and handled online. Also, if you don't wan't to use it as a Voice Assistant you can still use it as a cheap-ish wireless music installation, with decent quality.
>>60780117
For this price you could get a bunch of BT speakers. Why would I believe them that they listen 'locally', will they release the source of its firmware? And how do you know if there is no backdoor for NSA/CIA so they could listen whenever they want?

I mean, they probably were doing you a favour by hiring you with no experience.
But their entire business plan probably relies on cheap programmers they "do favours" for.
Don't get yourself tangled up trying to fix all their old broken cowshit. Just take control of new projects/features and do them the correct way.
The more you work in software development, the more you realize how shod the majority of developers are.

Now that the dust has settled, who had a better developer conference? Which of the two was more exciting?
Neither will ever throw themselves on their swords hard enough to appease the social justice types they're trying to appease. They will ALWAYS find some terrible social ill to whine about.
Google is doing much more interesting stuff but good fucking grief they need to coach their speakers. Not even high school students are as nervous on stage.

Show me one single non white subhuman on Apple's keynote.
So I want to get a new smartphone this summer. Do you have any recommendations about what I should get? I really want to hear your opinions.
My criteria for my next smartphone are: being a flagship (duh), not being some obscure brand (so no OnePlus or Xiaomi), not being Samsung or Apple and having relatively clean Android.
So this is what I have on my list:
* The Moto Z or the upcoming Moto Z2; my first love due to their thinness, modularity and classic brand;
* The HTC U11 for being extremely sexy, speedy and audiophile-friendly (inb4 no headphone jack but I don't care), the only thing I don't like is Alexa
* LG G6 - I know I said stockish Android but this one is really too good (inb4 bootloops)
* the upcoming Nokia 9 - sounds extremely promising
I'd love to hear your opinions on this. Feel free to suggest other smartphones that you feel would suit my needs.

oneplus
(OP) Or maybe should I just go budget and get myself a nice Moto G5 Plus? I'd consider that too.
Xiaomi obscure? Hah, my redmi note 3 shits on your meme flagship at half the price.
It's kinda weird having a laptop with no limits
here's why every apple user is a fucking retard:
>sees apple ads in TV about how user friendly macs are ("computers for the rest of us", aka for idiots)
>friends recommend apple products because they are apple uses themselves
>"minimalistic" design appeals to the retard, he can't predict that the materials used are designed to be so flimsy to break, also ignores how other products are more ergonomic to use since those aren't just slabs of aluminium
>compares $2000 applel product to the only other laptops he's ever used: $300 walmart trash and is amazed how ""premium"" apple is
>begins to use mac OS and since it's a bit more user friendly he believes it's the greatest thing ever
>now stuck in the apple ecosystem, has to buy a new model every 3 years because some of the hardware broke (planned obsolescence)
>likely a dumb poorfag so he has to take a loan just to buy the fucking computers
>even recommends apple to friends and tries to justify his position with unrealistic claims ("muh special functions only apple has", "I have a higher status in society if people see my computer", "it just werks", "muh special application NEEDS mac OS")
>worst of all, he doesn't even notice how much he has been cucked
tl;dr macfags are fucking retarded

I wanted an MBP because it's a UNIX for the masses that doesn't drain my battery, and also my employer bought it for me as my sign-up bonus.

Holy fuck, I just learned that all class members in Java are not private by default, they are "package-public". What the fuck is this bullshit! Now I have to type "private" all over my code like a fucking idiot.

4chan is not your personal blog
Here's a question, is it possible to be absolutely anonymous online in this day and age? Is it actually possible to leave no trace of what you have searched and done on the internet? Because all I hear is the NSA tapping this and governments censoring that and more surveillance and all this shit that just makes it seem like the internet is becoming a playground where we play and "they" see everything.
>>60778952
technically, but you have to jump through hoops, here's the basics:
>use TAILS
it's meant specifically to leave no trace, and should be more than usable
>use tor
it should be preconfigured in tails but if it isn't make sure everything connects through tor
>don't torrent
torrenting makes you very easy to track, and torrenting through for is not something you'd ever want to do for reasons I won't get into because I'm a lazy fuck
>never allow any scripts to run in your browser
be it js or flash (especially flash) or anything else, don't let it run unless absolutely necessary
>use firefox or the tor browser
anything based on chromium will most likely phone home and is generally bad to use
>configure your browser
>>/cyb/ has a good guide for that
>don't connect from your home
in the off chance that you can be traced through tor, you don't want people to find you, and even then, your ISP can still monitor your traffic even if it's just stats like your connection times etc
>don't use unsecured protocols/encrypt everything
no email, no irc without proper encryption, etc
>don't use any social media
that means fb, reddit, tumblr, or whatever you faggots connect to
>don't use proprietary software
if you can't see or modify the source code, then the maker can implement back doors easily
>don't use anything that doesn't have a security audit
self explanatory
>if you do have to create an account, use a randomly generated password and a different one for each site
password manager is optional but I don't recommend one, just remember them
>don't be an idiot
be generally careful of the sites you connect to and don't do things that could attract anyone's attention, or at least don't look like it, try to blend in by connecting to more common domains at the same time
Are you happy now? Can we stop posting this fucking thread every day? Take that shit to >>/cyb/ and ask real questions, or learn to google

Anon, I am going to give you an advice my father told me constantly since I was just a small child. No milk for a baby who doesn't cry. I hated him for telling me that constantly, resenting him for asking his own god damned son to cry and beg for things he needed or wanted. But as I become an adult, I see that wisdom validated constantly. You don't get what you want or need if you don't work for it, beg for it, and go after it aggressively. Since 4chan is a forum for autistic people, it is meaningless to post this story here.
Here's what I want you to do, I want you to go on reddit to one of those faggot popular hardware subreddits and post this story in a heartwretching, sad way with a hint of entertainment. Post it under a witty and again self pitying title. If it reaches enough popularity/vote or whatever it was called as I can't recall it, one of the marketting department people will see it or it will get tweeted to them.
Through that thread's popularity they will get free marketing and you will get cheap/free bracket.
