Why is retro technology so aesthetic?
>>60791958
because companies actually tried to make unique designs and not just tried to look like something apple would do if they were a korean company.
because they weren't consumer products, they were luxury products

Does anyone know how to decrypt the files and fully remove cryptolocker?
This is probably a new version with 1-2 weeks old
Restore from your backup.
You have a backup, right?
>>60791899
>fully remove cryptolocker
Easy, just go around and delete all it's files, check where the running processes are coming from and make sure it doesn't have any system services installed.
>decrypt the files
You don't. It wouldn't be a very good cryptolocker if you could do that now would it? Your only hope is somebody finds a flaw in the implementation or the keys used in the cryptolocking are released.
It's not my pc, it's my friends pc
His pc is 1 week old but has important files
No backups or nothing like that
If I want to learn something useful now, but eventually go on to focus more on academic programming languages, what would be a better start, JavaScript or Python? I'm getting mixed messages everywhere.
both are fine choices imo. javascript is probably more useful than python but python would make a better first language to learn.
>>60791798
Does Python being better also apply if you specifically want to go on to learn functional programming?
I also wanna start but mainly on building apps. Does it make sense to start with swift?
reminder that Self-Destructing Cookies doesn't delete google cookies. You can't escape.
lol at everyone paranoid about Google.
Their literal company motto is 'don't be evil' and you think they're satan or something.
Obligatory

If the company says it then it must be true.
>L3 cache latency of 77 CPU cycle
Is Intel kill?
>>60791386
>intel is bulldozer-tier
When did this happen?
>>60791386
Meh, AMD's ryzen has low latency inside the Core Complex but something like 140ns outside the CCX.
Intel's cores are on a ring bus design which means higher latency.
>>60791398
so intel ded?
I'm currently running windows 7 professional, it seems stable with a couple hiccups with performance now and then.
Is windows 10 worth the upgrade??
And yeah, I'm using the assist technology upgrade (I'm too poor ;) )
Yes, it improved the performance on my 7 year old laptop. Gotta disable all the crap that comes with it though
>>60791341
no
it's not worth being spied on by microshit
and it automatically installs shit like candy crush
Let's discuss the best antivirus for Windows, /g/.

Does anyone have enough experience with a Crystal to say if it's a good language to learn or not?
Looks pretty good for me but I've never heard of it.

I hate the syntax. I can't really see why it is listed as a pro, but maybe that's me

So i just came back home and my computer was loud AF, it was my Rx480 nitro's fan going crazy ,i open up TRIXX and i see that the temperature is around 60-65 celsius, which seems crazy to me because my PC was not doing anything.
At first i thought it was because of my currently not so efficient setup (having the PC in a somewhat cramped place with just the stock case fan) + because it's summer and i live in Greece.
But once i turned on the screen (since it was off, the PC was left on though) checked the temp, and went about posting this in a QTDTOT thread (but there was none)...and it cooled down, right now it's at 45 with fans at 0%..
Which seems odd to me,and more than a bit suspicious, Is there any chance my PC has caught something? is my GPU being used for bitcoin mining or something without my knowledge?
help /g/ im scared ':(
to clarify.
I had left my PC on when i left, but had turned off the screen, so when i came back it had been sitting idle for about 6 hours
>>60791135
Monitor GPU usage. If its 100% all the time, you are very likely infected with a crypto mining malware. Had something similar.
>>60791228
this just happened again, When i came it was loud again.
I check TRIXX and it tells me that GPU usage is at 0%
speccy tells me that my Current GPU Clock is at 1214 MHz
and pardon my PC illiteracy, seems a bit high to me for a GPU clocked at 1342 MHz
(but that's probably not how it works, is it?)
what software can i use to check what my GPU usage when my PC is IDLE

Have fun, fagget.
can you still find programming jobs as a white male?
If you're good.
no. they hire pajeets and then a few blue haired women to meet quotas. your only hope is to wait to see if whites are granted minority status and thus affirmative action in 2060
>>60790674
Do you have kernel programming experience?
Found this in my room, are the feds onto me?
>>60790578
Where'd you find it?
I wouldn't worry about it.
