It entirely depends what you're doing.

Probably safe, best do it on someone else's WiFi

Anything government and you're probably gonna get caught, unless you're very careful (properly configuring tor) and never use your own ISP or the same nodes twice
Nothing is safe
Remember that
Any modern system is compromised.
>>60819440
True but if they don't care about you watching 9 y/o girls getting BLACKED, you're pretty safe.
>>60819440
That simply isn't true. Data can be encrypted, operating systems hardened, connections obscured. That's practically the point of Tails in conjunction with Tor.
can i pirate anime figurines with a laser resin 3d printer

OWO
no they will look like utter garbage.
Is buying used/refurbished CPU/Motherboards something that is pretty safe to do? Or are you likely to get screwed with a soon to be broken item in a few months?
My Q6600 and MB has lasted 9 years of hard use but I don't know if its longevity is an anomaly or not.
Buying second hand computer equipment is something trojan-ridden poorfags do.
>>60819284
I don't give a shit, if it works it works.
CPUs never die, if you want to max out the specs on an old system, go right ahead.
Used ram is pretty safe too, if it's still working at this point, it's not going to suddenly stop working.
If you buy stuff on ebay, you're pretty much guaranteed a refund if something comes dead on arrival.

Unlimited seedbox backend until September 2018 for $60. Could be worse.

I hope, you all know that there are 100kGHz CPUs, but the companies controlled by the jews don't sell them because they want to make more money?
That which can be put forth without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.

What's the best way to scrape part of a website for offline reading? I'm on GNU+Linux so preferably something that isn't too complicated for a relative noob. I want to have all of Warosu's /g/ saved on my computer.

Mice thread general.
I'd actually like to ask about productivity mice. Do you guys know any mice other than MX series and RAT series with second scroll wheels? How do they compare to touch mice like Apple magic mouse or MS Wedge when it comes to productivity stuff?
I'm curious becase a lot of big Youtubers seem to have a hardon for the MX now because the scroll wheel is useful for video, but I wonder how it compares to touch controls when scrolling across large images, spreadsheets etc.
Of course gaming mice discussion is fine too.

I have some quesitions.
1. Is QubesOS + Tor with ExpressVPN safe?
2. LUKS vs VeraCrypt
3. Any tips on anti-forensic skills?
Tor + VPN is beyond sketch
Don't use a VPN with Tor. If your ISP is blocking Tor, you're far better off using a preconfigured Sock5 proxy provided by Tor. VPNs will sell your data in a heart beat.

Stop recommending learn python the hard way.
>>60818480
Python is only useful as a scripting language to replace shell and as a beginner language.
Nobody should be learning important CS concepts with it.

What should we learn 'important' CS with?

How do you avoid extreme security paranoia?
Setting up a secure cryptocurrency cold storage environment on a throwaway laptop and I keep thinking "Fuck, what if my flash drive's firmware is infected" and "Fuck what if my BIOS is infected"
Are flash drives even a 100% safe way to transfer files between hot and cold storage? Are micro-SD cards safer if my laptop has a micro-SD slot?
>>60818471
>How do you avoid extreme security paranoia?
You shouldn't
>>60818497
If you want to use computers you have to
I have to make this environment and I have to transfer my coins to is ASAP, it needs to happen. At what point do you stop being paranoid and start actually performing the tasks you have to do?

>How do you avoid extreme security paranoia?
Once your eyes are open, you don't.

Any thoughts on a good Mechanical keyboard?

if you do get a keyboard, i really recommend a full-sized one with numpads and everything. smaller ones look sexy and all but at the end of the day you want function for something you're gonna use every single day
